We offer you a recipe for making corn porridge for a child. It is suitable for babies from 6 months. When the baby grows up, milk can be used instead of water. From 8 months it is allowed to cook porridge in milk without diluting it with water.

  • corn grits - 4 tsp;
  • water - 250 ml;
  • butter - 5 g;
  • sugar - a pinch.

Cooking

  1. Grind the grits into flour using a coffee grinder.
  2. Pour water into a saucepan, boil.
  3. Pour in cereal, sugar, mix.
  4. Stew on low heat for 15 minutes.
  5. Add oil, mix.

Instead of sugar, a child’s recipe may include a grated apple or banana. Add these products if the baby is already familiar with them. Improving the taste and perception of the product by the baby’s body will allow the addition of breast milk or a mixture.

At an older age, you can safely saturate the porridge with other tasty and healthy additives. Honey and raisins, dried apricots and peaches, candied fruits and berries (fresh and frozen) will make each breakfast unusual and very desirable.
