Ingredients

Potatoes 500 g
Salted cucumbers 200 g
Onion 150 g
Tomato paste 2 tbsp. l
Wheat flour 1 tbsp. l
Vegetable oil 3-4 tbsp. l
Garlic 3 cloves
Ground red pepper taste
Salt taste
Greenery 30 g
Water 200 ml
Brine 200 ml

Step cooking

  1. To begin with, 150 grams of onion (this is 1 large onion, or 2 medium in size) should be cut into half rings.
    Cut the onion in half rings.
  2. Pour into a cauldron 3 tbsp. l vegetable oil. Spread onions there and fry until golden brown.
    Put the onions in a cauldron and fry in vegetable oil.
  3. Cut medium slices of 500 grams of beef. And send the meat to the cauldron, to the onion. Mix everything well with a wooden (or silicone) spatula and wait until the meat is browned.
    Add the sliced ​​beef to the onion.
  4. When the meat is reduced in volume (almost 2 times), it must be filled with a glass (200 ml) of warm water and cover the cauldron with a lid. Now leave the meat and onions to simmer for 1.5 hours over low heat. Periodically make sure that all liquid does not boil away.
    Add water to the meat and onion and leave to stew under the lid.
  5. While the meat is stewed, finely chop the pickles. We need about 200 grams (and these are 3 medium cucumbers).
    Cut the pickles into small pieces.
  6. Potatoes (500 grams) need to be peeled and cut into strips.

  7. After 1.5 hours, open the lid of the cauldron and add 1 tbsp to the meat. l wheat flour, as well as 2 tbsp. l tomato paste. Mix everything well and leave to languish for 4-5 minutes.
    To the meat with onions add a spoonful of flour and tomato paste.
  8. After 5 minutes, add the pickles to the meat and mix again.
    Stew meat, add pickles.
  9. We put the pan on the stove and pour a little vegetable oil. We wait until it warms up well, and pour the potatoes. It should be a little fried and find a crisp.
    Separately, fry the potatoes in a pan until golden brown.
  10. We return to the beef and pour in 1 glass of cucumber pickle. Close the casserole with a lid again, let it continue to stew.
    Add brine to the meat with onions and cucumbers.
  11. 3 cloves of garlic, chopped very finely. We do the same with fresh herbs (30 grams). It's time to salt the beef, and add a little red pepper to the potatoes. When adding spices, focus on your taste.
    Season the dish with salt and pepper.
  12. When the potatoes are almost ready, pour it into a cauldron, to beef. Stir the fried potatoes with meat and pour the chopped garlic and herbs.
    We send the potatoes to the cauldron for meat, add chopped garlic and herbs.
  13. Leave the basics to languish for another 2-3 minutes on the stove. And then turn it off.
