Fresh ginger | 100 g |
Sugar | 3 tbsp. l |
Ground cinnamon | 1 tsp |
Ground cardamom | 1 pinch |
Boiling water | 1 liter |
Step cooking
- Berries of sea buckthorn must be washed under running water. For a change of taste, you can add a few berries of cherries, raspberries or strawberries. Berries can be both frozen and fresh.
- From the berries you need to make mashed potatoes using a blender. If you do not have a blender, then you can do with a fork. To do this, pour a little berries directly into a sieve and crush. So you get the necessary juice from the berries.
- The resulting mashed potatoes need to be passed through a sieve. After all, in the mashed potatoes there were bones and particles of the peel. You can help with a spoon, so the screening process will be much faster. After that, we got a glass of liquid sea-buckthorn puree. Set the mashed potatoes aside and do another.
- On a fine grater we rub 100 g of fresh ginger with a skin.
- For the next step, we need to fold the cheesecloth three to four times. Grated ginger is moved to cheesecloth and squeezed juice into sea buckthorn puree, which was prepared earlier.
- The next stage in mashed potatoes is 3 tbsp. l Sahara. You can use honey or cane sugar for this recipe. Do not forget to thoroughly mix the puree until the sugar crystals are completely dissolved.
- To complete the preparation of aromatic tea, you need to add ground cinnamon (1 tsp) and a pinch of cardamom. Of course, you can use other spices and proportions. And you can also add the zest of orange or lemon, which adds flavor and citrus notes to your tea.
- So our base for warming tea is ready. It remains only to add 1 liter of boiling water, and you can enjoy tea. For a beautiful serving, you can cut an orange into slices and throw in a jug of tea.
