Stuffed Pasta - Seashells with Bechamel sauce 🍝

Stuffed Pasta - Seashells with Bechamel sauce 🍝

Step cooking

  1. First you need to cook shells until half ready. Put the pot of water on the fire, bring to a boil, salt and add a little sunflower oil, then put 250 g of pasta. The approximate cooking time is 7-10 minutes after boiling, however, do not forget to look at the packaging for the recommended cooking time.
    Boil pasta shells.
  2. While cooking pasta, rinse 450 g of meat, cut into small pieces, and then chop it through a meat grinder. If desired, mince can be passed through a meat grinder several times, so the taste will be more delicate.
    We twist the meat through a meat grinder.
  3. Peel and rinse 2 onions, cut half the onion into small pieces and send to grind to mincemeat.
    Add onion to the meat, also passed through a meat grinder.
  4. Drain the pasta and let it drain, then pour them into a bowl so that they stand for a while and cool.
    Drain the water from the pasta, let them cool.
  5. One and a half bulbs chop manually, try to cut as finely as possible.
    Grind the onion.
  6. Pour 30 ml of sunflower oil into a deep skillet or stewpan and put on a heat to heat a little, then pour the onion there (it should not be golden).
    Fry the onion in a pan.
  7. Constantly stir the onion so that it becomes soft, but does not change color, and then add 1 tbsp to it. l soy sauce and wait for the liquid to evaporate.
    Add soy sauce to the onion.
  8. Add the fried onions to the minced meat and mix.
    Add onion with sauce to the minced meat.
  9. Chop parsley or dill, basil and green onions, and then add to the minced meat with onions. Also, ground meat should be salt, add ground pepper, 1 tsp. oregano, 1 tsp savory, as well as chopped bay leaf.
    Add salt, seasonings and mix the minced meat.
  10. Now you can start cooking Bechamel sauce. Put 100 g butter in a deep pan and wait until it melts.
    Melt the butter in a stewpan.
  11. Separately, in a saucepan, heat 1 liter of milk to hot (do not boil).
    Separately, heat the milk.
  12. When the butter has melted, add 4 tbsp. To it. l flour and mix thoroughly with a whisk so that no lumps form.
    In melted butter we make flour.
  13. Then turn off the gas and pour several ladles of milk into the butter and flour, mix. Pour in the remaining milk gradually while continuing to mix thoroughly.
    Gradually introduce milk to the butter with flour and mix.
  14. When there are several ladles left in the stewpan, add salt and nutmeg to it.
    In a small amount of remaining milk, add nutmeg.
  15. After pour all the milk to the butter-flour mixture and mix until smooth without lumps.
    Put the milk in the sauce and bring it to homogeneity.
  16. Take a baking sheet with high sides. Start each shell with minced meat and put on a baking sheet close to each other, but not in 2 layers.
    We start the shells with minced meat and put it in a baking dish.
  17. Sauce “Bechamel” pour the shells on top and send to a preheated oven. Bake the dish for 20-30 minutes at 180 degrees.
    Pour pasta with sauce and put in the oven.
  18. Before serving stuffed shells, pour them with the remaining sauce and sprinkle with herbs. You can also garnish with grated cheese.
