  • a pan (stewpan or pan with a thick bottom) with a lid;
  • pot with a capacity of 1.5 liters;
  • colander;
  • cutting board;
  • coarse grater;
  • knife;
  • plate;
  • tablespoon;
  • tea spoon.

Onion 2 pcs.
Medium carrot 2 pcs.
Cabbage 1 large head of cabbage
Tomatoes in their own juice 850 ml
Vegetable oil 2-3 tbsp. l

Ground black pepper taste
Water 0.75 L

Step cooking

  1. In a pot with a capacity of 1.5 liters, boil 0.75 liters. water, add 1 tsp. salt and pour washed rice. Boil until cooked for 7-10 minutes, drain, rinse the rice in cold water, put in a colander.
    Boil rice.
  2. Grind in a meat grinder 650 g of meat. You can take the same amount of minced meat. The calorie content and taste of this dish will vary depending on the meat you choose: the more dietary option is with turkey, chicken or beef, the more nutritious is with pork.
    We will also need minced meat.
  3. In 1 large head of Beijing cabbage with wide leaves, cut off the lower part (about 3 cm) and take it apart into leaves (2-3 of the upper ones are not suitable for use).

  4. The thickened part of each sheet is either cut off with a knife or beat off with a kitchen hammer.

  9. Reduce heat to medium and simmer vegetables for 4-6 minutes.

  10. Put half in the stuffing. In the remaining frying pan, add the tomatoes in their own juice. If you have canned food with whole tomatoes, you need to pre-knead them.
    Add chopped canned tomatoes to half the vegetable mass.
  11. Salt to taste, add black ground pepper on the tip of the knife, mix and warm over low heat for 2-3 minutes.

  12. Put half the sauce on a plate, and distribute the remaining sauce along the bottom of the pan.
    We take half of the vegetable mass, and level the second half along the bottom of the pan.
  13. To mince with vegetables add cooled rice, 1. tsp. salt and black pepper to taste. Mix everything properly. If the stuffing is too thick and dense, you can add 1-2 tbsp. l cold water.

  14. On a thinner edge of a leaf of cabbage, put about 1 tablespoon of minced meat (its amount depends on the size of the leaves) and wrap it with a roll.

  15. Put rolled cabbage rolls in a pan with the sauce seam down, pressing to each other.

  16. Spread the remaining sauce on top. To prevent stuffed cabbage, you can add 0.5 stack. water.
