Minced meat

  1. Stuffing can be prepared at home, just twist the meat in a meat grinder or grind it in a blender, or buy it ready. For the preparation of minced meat, you can use any meat: chicken, pork, beef, turkey or combine two types of meat. Spread the minced meat in a deep bowl. Add salt, pepper, zira to taste.

  3. Then we wash 1 cup of rice under running water and add it to the minced meat, you do not need to boil the rice beforehand, it will be perfectly cooked in cabbage rolls.

  1. Peking cabbage is great for stuffed cabbage. It boils quickly, and its leaves become very tender and soft. To begin with, we cut the coarse part of the cabbage at 2 - 3 cm, so that it is easy to disassemble into leaves.
    With a head of Chinese cabbage we cut off the rough part.
  2. Whole cabbage is sent to boiling water, cook it for 2 - 3 minutes. It itself will disintegrate during cooking and with the help of special tongs we take out the leaves one by one.
    We put the cabbage in a pot with boiling water, when cooking, the leaves separate themselves.

Sauce making

  1. In order to prepare a sauce for stewing cabbage rolls, prepare vegetables. Rub one carrot on a coarse grater. Sweet peppers will be cleaned of seeds and cut into strips of medium size. Grind two branches of parsley.

  4. The sauce must be brought to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.

  1. We spread the cabbage leaf on the working surface. On one side we put the minced meat and twist the cabbage roll. The amount of minced meat depends on the size of the cabbage leaf and your preferences.
