Ingredients

Water for soaking and cooking soup
Peas 250 g
Potatoes 4 things. medium size

Refined vegetable oil 10 - 12 ml
Bay leaf 1 PC.
Allspice peas 4 to 6 peas

Step cooking

  1. Initially, you need to prepare peas. To do this, it should be washed with cold water, then pour into a deep container and pour water with a volume of 400 - 500 ml. Leave the peas soaked for 6 to 8 hours. After the peas swell, drain the water and rinse again.
    Pre-soak peas.
  2. Pour peas into the prepared pan for cooking, pour 2/3 of the volume of cold water, and cook over medium heat.
    Transfer the washed peas to the pan and fill it with water.
  3. Peel the onion and garlic, rinse, and without cutting, place in a pan for joint cooking.
    Immediately add the onion and garlic to the pan.
  4. Peas must be stirred periodically so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan. Be sure to monitor the process of boiling and remove the resulting foam. Cook the soup for 1.5 to 2 hours until the peas are mashed. The cooking time of peas directly depends on how much they have been soaked in water. It is best to leave it soaked on the night before cooking.

  5. While preparing peas, prepare vegetables. To do this, peel potatoes and carrots and wash under running water. Cut the potatoes into medium slices, and the carrots into small cubes.
