Ingredients

Minced meat 500 g
Onion 1 PC.
Garlic 2 cloves
Carrot 1 PC.
Vegetable oil 3 tbsp. l
Salt, allspice Taste
Dried herbs 1 tsp
Tomato paste 2 tbsp. l
Granulated sugar ¼ tsp
Buckwheat 1 stack
Purified water
Sweet bell pepper 1 PC.
Fresh greens 1 bunch

Step cooking

  1. Peel one large onion from the peel and finely chop into cubes.

  8. After a while, pour 500 grams of minced meat into the pan to the vegetables. You can use minced meat from any meat. However, when using lean beef or chicken, it’s worth adding some minced animal fat to the minced meat. So the dish will turn out juicier.

  9. Fry minced meat with vegetables until excess moisture evaporates. At the same time, the forcemeat will change color to lighter, and will also become more crumbly and tender.

  10. When the mass gives up excess moisture, add the previously crushed garlic. At the same stage, mince and pepper to taste. Pour here a teaspoon of dried herbs. Mix the ingredients thoroughly so that the salt and spices soak the whole mass properly. Stew all together over low heat for 1-2 minutes.

  11. After we add two tablespoons of tomato paste to the pan. To replace it, thick tomato juice is perfect. Mix so that the tomato paste dissolves. Stew all together for several minutes. After a while, we try the filling to taste and, if necessary, add salt or the desired spices. If the dish seems sour, you need to add a pinch of granulated sugar.

  12. Add a glass of buckwheat groats to the pan. Mix thoroughly with a spoon and simmer for one minute. This is necessary so that the cereal softens and starts its flavor.

  13. After we pour in two glasses of water and, stirring, bring the mixture to a boil. When the dish boils, turn down the heat. We need the water to boil slowly. Leave the dish to stew under a closed lid for about 15 minutes (until buckwheat takes all the moisture).

  14. Remove from heat and sprinkle the dish with chopped fresh herbs to taste, let it brew for a few minutes and serve.
