Today we cook buckwheat with minced meat in a pan in a merchant style. Products will require a minimum of effort, too, the result will not take long. The dish combines both a side dish - dietary buckwheat porridge, and meat - any minced meat, and vegetables - ordinary onions with carrots, which any housewife will find in the kitchen. If all this is stewed and cooked together, you will get a hearty and wholesome food for the whole family.

Buckwheat 250 g
Minced meat 400 g

  1. Dice 1 large onion into small cubes. On a coarse grater, rub 1 carrot. Grind 3 cloves of garlic.

  1. We put the stewpan on the fire. Pour 2 tbsp. l vegetable oil.

Cooking options

  • When cooking this dish, minced meat can be replaced with pieces of meat. It can be pork, chicken, beef. The meat must be fried with onions and carrots for 5 to 10 minutes until a golden blush appears, and then only spread the buckwheat. The dish will become similar to pilaf, but from this no less tasty.
  • Tomato paste before adding can be diluted in 0.5 tbsp. water. And you can mix with 2 tbsp. warm water, salt and pour into a pan where the meat is fried, then put buckwheat.
  • Carrots can be cut into strips, and garlic is passed through a press.
  • Boil buckwheat until it absorbs all the water, then put it off the heat and let it stand under the closed lid for 10 minutes.
  • Serve the dish better with fresh vegetables.
