  • cutting board;

Ingredients

buckwheat 400 g
drinking water 1 liter
vegetable oil 200 ml
leek 2 pcs.
carrot 2 pcs.
tomato paste 2 tbsp. l
sour cream 30% 4 tbsp. l
garlic 2 cloves
salt pinch
pepper 0.5 tsp
ground beef 500 g

Step cooking

  1. We boil 0.5 liters of water and pour 400 g of buckwheat with it. Let the croup stand to steam.
    We wash buckwheat and pour boiling water.
  2. We heat the pan and add about 150 ml of vegetable oil to it. Finely chop 1 onion and send it to fry.

  3. Following onions, pour 2 grated carrots on a pan into the pan. Mix everything and fry for 2-3 minutes.
    Add carrots to the onion.
  4. Without turning off the heat, add 2 tbsp to the browned ingredients. l tomato paste, a pinch of salt and 0.5 tsp. ground pepper.
    Next, add the tomato paste.
  5. Continuing to fry vegetables with tomato paste and spices, pour 400 ml of water to them.
    Add water to the frying.
  6. Mix the frying well and add 2 tbsp to it. l sour cream.
    Sour cream is also added to the sauce.
  7. We mix everything well and turn off the fire.
    The sauce is ready.
  8. Grind 1 onion and 2 cloves of garlic in a blender. Add the resulting mixture to 500 g of ground beef and season with all 2 tbsp. l sour cream.
    To the minced meat, add chopped onions and garlic, as well as sour cream.
  9. Knead all the ingredients and form balls on the meatballs.
    Having mixed the forcemeat, we make meatballs from it.
  10. We put the oven to heat up to 180 degrees. We lubricate the deep form with vegetable oil and put buckwheat there, after draining the water from it.
    We spread buckwheat in a baking dish, draining water from it.
  11. Add half the resulting fill over the buckwheat. Mix everything evenly and level the surface.
    On top of buckwheat, distribute half the vegetable sauce.
  12. We lay out the meat balls on top and cover them with the remaining filling.
    Next, spread the meatballs and cover with the remaining sauce.
  13. We send the form to the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes. We take the dish out of the oven, arrange it on plates and serve.
    Buckwheat with meatballs in the oven is cooked for about 40 minutes.
