How to salt salmon caviar at home

  • fridge.

In female pink salmon, it is wide and smoothly rounded, while in male it is pointed in the form of a beak. The female pink salmon cannot see the teeth protruding forward, which cannot be said about the male: his teeth protrude forward from under the upper lip. If you are lucky and you have chosen fish with caviar, carefully remove it without damaging the protective film (pail), and proceed to salting.

Step cooking

  1. Pour boiled water (0.5 liters) into a deep bowl or salad bowl. Water temperature should be 50 degrees. Pour sea or table salt (1 tablespoon with a large slide) into the water and mix well until the salt is completely dissolved.
    We prepare a saline solution.
  2. Transfer the pink salmon caviar in the gaiter to the prepared water.
    Put caviar in the saline solution.
