Step cooking
- The first recipe for shrimp canapes in ginger-honey marinade. Clean boiled tiger prawns. Separate the meat from the shell, make an incision along the entire body and use the special wooden skewer or toothpick to extract the intestines. This procedure is not complicated, but requires accuracy. After we are finished, there are 24 peeled shrimps in our arsenal.
- Next, proceed to the preparation of the marinade. For him, we need to grate one tablespoon of ginger root. With a knife, we cut off all unnecessary root branches from the trunk and remove the peel with a peeler. Rub the required volume on a grater. Put the pulp in a bowl.
- In the same container, squeeze the juice from half a lemon.
- Add a tablespoon of flower honey or any other, at your discretion.
- Take a pinch of turmeric and a pinch of curry and mix the ingredients with a spoon. The first marinade is ready.
- For the second marinade, and it will be mustard with us, pour vegetable oil into a bowl. It can be olive or grape seed oil, most importantly, do not pour more than four tablespoons. Pepper, salt to your taste and mix.
- Put half the shrimp in one bowl, half in the second. Leave them in the marinade for 10 minutes.
- After the required time, we remove the shrimp from the bowls and fry in a pan, the surface of which we greased with butter. This applies to shrimp from the first marinade, in which there was no vegetable oil, for the second it will not be needed in the pan additionally.
- It is necessary to fry one and a half minutes on each side of the shrimp. Turn off the stove, put the shrimp on the board and go to the other components of the canapes.
- We cut the mango, making a longitudinal section, and remove the flesh, removing the stone before that. Cut it into thick squares.
- We add shrimp to the skewer, then a mint leaf and a cube of mango. We do this with the remaining 11 blanks.
- For the second type of canapes, we need to make mustard cream. On a glass of sour cream, add one and a half to two teaspoons of mustard, half a teaspoon of turmeric and a pinch of curry. Mix the mixture thoroughly.
- We clean and cut the cucumber into circles.
- Using a pastry syringe or a bag with a slit in the corner, squeeze the sauce for each piece of cucumber.
- String a shrimp on a skewer and prick a circle of cucumber. We do this with the remaining components.
