  • Chicken - 500 g
  • Onion - 1 pc.
  • Garlic - 4-5 cloves
  • Milk - 0.5 stack.
  • Egg - 1 pc.
  • Soft cheese - 50 g
  • Salt to taste
  • Tomato paste / ketchup / sauce - 2 tbsp. l
  • Sunflower oil - for frying
  • Butter - 70 g
  • Paprika - 0.5 tsp.
  • Thyme - 0.5 tsp
  • Ground black pepper - 0.5 tsp.
  • Turmeric - 0.5 tsp.
  • Marjoram - 0.5 tsp.
  • Bay leaf - 1 pc.

Step cooking

  1. Peel potatoes in an amount of 1.2 kg and cut into small cubes. We put it to boil, throwing a bay leaf into the pan. In the process of cooking, do not forget to salt the potatoes. Chicken fillet (500 g) is passed through a meat grinder. We clean the potatoes and boil them until cooked.
  2. Dice the onion. Finely chop 4-5 cloves of garlic. finely chopped onion and garlic.
  3. In a pan, heat the sunflower oil and send onions with garlic there, fry until translucent. Fry onion with garlic in a pan.
  4. Add the minced chicken, stir well. Add minced meat to the onion.
  5. Salt the minced meat to taste (approximately 0.5 tsp. Salt). We also add half a teaspoon of paprika, black pepper, turmeric, marjoram, thyme. Add spices and salt to the pan.
  6. Then add a couple of tablespoons of tomato sauce (or ketchup, or tomato paste). If necessary, you can add a little water so that the stuffing is not dry, but at the same time, and does not float in the liquid. Season the casserole stuffing with tomato paste.
  7. Sauté the minced meat with tomato, turn off the heat and close the pan with a lid. Stew the filling for a few more minutes.
  8. Ready potatoes first knead a crush. Knead the finished potatoes in mashed potatoes.
  9. Add 0.5 cups of warm milk and about 50 g of butter. Add milk and butter to mashed potatoes.
  10. Beat potatoes with a mixer. Beat the potatoes with a mixer.
  11. Add one egg and beat again. Add the egg to the potato mass.
  12. Lubricate the baking dish (25 cm in diameter) with butter (20 g). The first layer in the form spread half the mashed potatoes. We spread half the potatoes in a greased form.
  13. Spread all the minced meat on top, then put the remaining potatoes, level them. We spread the filling, and over it we level the remaining potatoes.
  14. With a fork, we apply some drawings to the surface of the pie. Wick can make patterns on the surface of the casserole.
  15. Grate 50 g of soft cheese and lay it on top of the casserole. Sprinkle grated cheese with casserole.
  16. The form is set in an oven heated to 170-180ºС for 20-30 minutes. Readiness is determined by the crust on top: as soon as it becomes rosy - we take out the casserole from the oven. Such a potato casserole is baked for about half an hour.
