  1. Prepare the vegetables for the salad. It is necessary to boil 3 potatoes in a peel, one carrot and beetroot. Cook potatoes with carrots in one saucepan, while beets need to be cooked in a separate saucepan so that it does not stain other vegetables. Cooking time may vary depending on the size of the vegetables, but on average, potatoes with carrots will take about 30 minutes, for beets - 40-50 minutes over medium heat. Check the readiness of vegetables with a knife, they must be completely soft.
