  • cutting board;

  • grater;
  • plate for serving dishes.

Minced meat 500 g
Onion 2 pcs.
Garlic 3-5 cloves
Egg 1 PC.
Carrot 1 PC.
Tomato paste 1-2 tbsp. l

Breading mixture 250 g

Step cooking

Buckwheat Cooking

  1. Pour 2 cups of water into a saucepan and set on fire. Sort 1 cup of buckwheat to remove pebbles, garbage and unpeeled grains. Rinse the buckwheat several times under running cold water.
    We wash buckwheat.
  2. Salt the boiling water to taste and put the washed cereal into it.
    We cook buckwheat on the water.
  3. Cook the buckwheat until cooked on low heat for 10-20 minutes. Check the readiness of buckwheat by running a spoon along the bottom. If there is no water there or the porridge already sticks to it a little, then it can be removed from the stove. Add 20 grams of butter to buckwheat and let it brew for half an hour.
    In the finished porridge, add a little butter.
Did you know? To make buckwheat friable and more fragrant, before boiling, bake the groats in a dry pan, stirring constantly. On low heat, this process will take 3-4 minutes. Thanks to this step, buckwheat cooks faster, but you can skip it.

Minced meat

  1. Finely chop 1 onion and 3-5 cloves of garlic.
    Grind onions and garlic.
  2. In a deep bowl, put 500 grams of minced meat, 1 cup boiled buckwheat and chopped onions with garlic. Salt, pepper and add your favorite spices.
    In a bowl we combine minced meat, buckwheat, onions, garlic, salt and pepper.
  3. Break 1 egg into the minced meat. Stir everything thoroughly with your hands.
    Add the egg and knead the minced meat well.
  4. Pour the breading mixture into a separate flat plate. You can also use flour or crackers.
    Pour breadcrumbs onto a separate plate.
  5. Alternately shape the cutlets of the desired size and roll them in the breading mixture. Put the patties on a separate plate.
    We form cutlets and roll them in breadcrumbs.

Frying cutlets

  1. Pour vegetable oil onto a hot pan.
    We heat the vegetable oil in a pan.
  2. Put the patties in the pan. Fry until golden brown for 2-3 minutes on each side.
    We form cutlets and fry them on both sides.

Cooking dressing

  1. 1 onion, cut into small cubes.
    Finely chop the onion for the gravy.
  2. 1 grate carrots on a coarse grater.
    Rub the carrots on a grater.
  3. Pour a little vegetable oil into the same pan in which the patties were fried. Sauté the onion until golden brown.
    Fry the onion in vegetable oil.
  4. Add carrots to the onion and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
    Add carrots to the onion and simmer for a few more minutes.
  5. In the pan, add 1-2 tablespoons of tomato paste (you can take ketchup) and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil until the mixture begins to thicken.
    Add tomato paste, water and prepare the sauce until thickened.

Stewing cutlets

  1. Put the cutlets in a separate pan.
    Put the fried cutlets in a saucepan or ducklings.
  2. Pour them with dressing from vegetables and tomato paste.
    Pour the cutlets with sauce.
  3. Send on the stove to stew for 20-30 minutes. Cutlets are ready. Enjoy your meal!
