Ingredients

Young rabbit 1 carcass
potatoes 1,5 kg
large onions 2 pcs.
carrot 2 pcs.
sour cream 400 g
mushrooms 0.5 kg
garlic 6 teeth
parsley 1 bunch
hard cheese 150-200 g
vegetable oil 150 ml
ground pepper 2-3 pinch
salt 2 tbsp. l

Step cooking

  1. To prepare this dish we need a rabbit. If you bought it in the market and it turned out to be old, put the carcass in cold water for 15 hours, periodically changing the water. This is to make the rabbit meat soft. Cut the carcass into portions, send it to the bowl, set aside.
    Cut the rabbit carcass into small pieces.
  2. Two large onions are peeled, washed under running water, cut into cubes.
    Grind the onion.
  3. Two medium carrots are peeled, washed, rubbed on a coarse grater.
    On a coarse grater, three carrots.
  4. Wash my mushrooms, peel, cut into large pieces so that the bright taste of this ingredient is felt. We divide one mushroom into four to six parts.
    Mushrooms cut into pieces.
  5. Grind six garlic cloves finely with a knife, after peeling and washing them.
    Grind the garlic.
  6. A bunch of parsley under the tap, cut, like a soup or salad. When choosing greens on the shelves, look at its freshness. Pay attention to the color of the leaves - they should be green, without any stains.
    Finely chop the fresh herbs.
  7. We rub 200 grams of cheese on a coarse grater. Choose a very hard product, it is easier to rub. Of course, try to buy fresh and tasty cheese, our dish will only improve from it. Peel the potatoes from my skin, wash and cut into large cubes.
    Grate hard cheese.
  8. We have prepared all the ingredients, now we send the cauldron to the fire. Pour 100-150 ml of vegetable oil there, heat it, put rabbit meat for frying, fry the meat until a golden crust appears.
    We spread the meat in a cauldron and fry until golden brown.
  9. When the meat is browned, add chopped onions, almost immediately and grated carrots, we begin to fry everything, stirring often, so as not to burn vegetables.
    Add onions with carrots to the meat, stew the place.
  10. At the same time, in the process of frying, do not forget that the meat must be salted.
    Salt the dish at this point.
  11. Now add the chopped garlic, sprinkle the ingredients with ground pepper. Do this based on your tastes, depending on how spicy or salty foods you like. Mix everything and turn off the fire.
    Add garlic, pepper, mix.
  12. Separately, pour 50 ml of vegetable oil into the pan, send to the fire, add the chopped mushrooms, fry, stirring occasionally. For a minute or two before the end of frying, salt and pepper the mushrooms.
    Fry the mushrooms in a separate pan.
  13. Fry a little more and send to meat and vegetables in a cauldron.
    Prepared mushrooms are combined with other components of the dish.
  14. Mix well, begin to lay out the meat and mushrooms in clay pots intended for baking in the oven. First, put the meat with mushrooms. We have five pots, so we divide evenly into five parts.
    We spread the prepared dish in pots.
  15. Now add three tablespoons of sour cream on top of the meat. Five pots will take 400 g of sour cream. Here you can use both fatty and nonfat sour cream, it depends on your preferences.
    Add sour cream to each pot.
  16. We spread parsley in pots with a good pinch, distribute potatoes from above. When laying out the potatoes, we ram it a little in each pot. You can add salt on top, as we added salt to taste everywhere.
    Next, lay the greens, and her potatoes.
  17. Fill the pots with hot boiled water, cover with lids and send to the oven for 50 minutes at a temperature of 180 degrees.
    Add salt to taste, fill the ingredients in pots with water.
  18. 10 minutes before the readiness we take the pots out of the oven, add grated hard cheese to each of them, and again send for some time to the oven without any lids. Cheese should be lightly browned, slightly baked.
    Sprinkle the almost finished dish with the cheese grated earlier and send it to the oven to make it brown.
