  • bag (or sleeve) for baking with a clip;
  • garlic clover;
  • cutting board;
  • knife;
  • a bowl;
  • oven.

Ingredients

Rabbit carcass 1 PC.
Potato 2 pcs.
Garlic 5-7 cloves
Lemon juice 3 tbsp. l
Provencal herbs 1 tsp
Ground pepper 0.5 tsp
Salt 0.5 tsp
Seasoning for potatoes 0.5 tsp
Water 2 tbsp. l
Sunflower oil 50-70 ml
It is important to carefully select the rabbit carcass. The meat should be pinkish and elastic. You can also soak the meat before cooking in cold water for about eight hours to get rid of the specific smell of rabbit meat.

Step cooking

  1. It’s not worth baking the whole carcass. It should be divided into arbitrary pieces, which will be conveniently served in portions on plates.
    We wash the rabbit carcass and cut it into portions.
  2. Take half a head of garlic, peel the cloves and peel them through the garlic gum. To prepare the garlic dressing, add 50 ml of oil to the bowl with garlic (you can use both sunflower and olive), three tablespoons of lemon juice, two tablespoons of water, half a teaspoon of ground black pepper, a teaspoon of Provence herbs and half a teaspoon of salt .

  3. Take the baking bag and place the chopped rabbit carcass in it.
    We lay rabbit meat in the culinary sleeve for baking.
  4. Pour the garlic dressing over the meat. For a whole rabbit carcass, you need four tablespoons of dressing. If you do not like to cook garlic dishes, you can marinate the rabbit carcass in soy sauce, dry wine, sour cream or mayonnaise. It all depends on your taste preferences and imagination, because rabbit meat is combined with absolutely everything.
    Pour the rabbit slices with garlic marinade.
  5. Peel the potatoes and cut into large pieces. Lay them together with the rabbit, sprinkling with seasoning for potatoes.
    Add a few pieces of potato to the rabbit in the sleeve.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Tie the baking bag tightly with a heat-resistant clip or thread and place it on a baking sheet. Put the dish in the oven for 40-50 minutes.
    Tie the ends of the sleeves and send the dish to bake in the oven.
  7. When the dish is ready, cut the bag and transfer the meat and potatoes to a plate. Serve with fresh vegetables, lettuce or tomato sauce.
    The rabbit in the sleeve keeps its juiciness well, it turns out soft.
