Recipe for lazy cabbage rolls - delicious, like in a kindergarten 🍲

  • plate;
  • glass or ceramic vessel for the oven;

Ingredients

Cabbage 550-650 g
Minced meat assortment (0.5 pork and 0.5 beef) 900-1000 g
Onion (medium size) 2 pcs.
Rice ½ cup per 200 ml (100 g)
Carrots (medium sized) 2 pcs.
Sour cream 200-220 ml
Ketchup 400-500 ml
Water (boiling water) 250-300 ml
Salt 2 tsp
Ground pepper Taste
Sugar 4 tsp
Peppercorns 4-5 pcs.
Sunflower oil 3-4 tbsp. l

Step cooking

  1. First, we will cook rice. Rice (1/2 cup) is well washed, pour cold water and set to cook in a pan on the stove. We cook rice not until cooked, but only 2-3 minutes after boiling water. Do not salt.
    To start, we weld rice.
  2. After the rice has boiled for 2-3 minutes, you need to drain the water, and pour the rice into a colander and rinse with running cold water.
    then we discard the rice in a colander and rinse.
  3. Now let's do the roasting. Peel the onion (2 pcs.) And wash it with running water. Cut the onion into two parts and chop each into small cubes.
    Finely chop the onion.
  4. Heat the pan and pour 3-4 tbsp. l sunflower oil. Pour chopped onion onto a hot skillet and fry until golden.
    Fry the onion in a pan until golden brown.
  5. We take carrots (2 pcs.), Clean and wash with running water. Rub carrots on a coarse grater.
    Rub the carrots on a grater.
  6. Then, when the onion gets a golden crust, add the grated carrots to it and fry for another 5-7 minutes. Stirring.
    Add the grated carrots to the onions in the pan.
  7. When the frying is cooked, pour it into a plate and let cool.
    We put the finished frying on a plate and let it cool.
  8. For 1 kg of minced meat we take about 550-650 g of cabbage. Shred it in small stripes.
    Shred finely cabbage.
  9. After chopped cabbage, it needs to be crushed a little by hand. So it will be much softer.
    You need to mash the cabbage a little with your hands.
  10. Now let's make the sauce. Take 400-500 ml of ordinary ketchup (tomato paste) and pour into a skillet.
    Pour ketchup into the pan.
  11. Add 200-220 ml of sour cream to the ketchup.
    Add sour cream.
  12. Then we throw 4 tsp there. sugar and 2 tsp salt.
    Immediately add salt and sugar.
  13. Pour boiling water over our sauce (250-300 ml) and mix well.
    Add water and mix the sauce.
  14. Bring the sauce to a boil, stirring a little. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes and remove from heat.
    Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes.
  15. We take 900-1000 g of minced meat and add to it already cooled rice. Hands mix well the minced meat with rice.
    Mix rice with minced meat.
  16. Add ground pepper to the minced meat to taste and mix again.
    Add pepper to taste, mix again.
  17. Pour shredded cabbage into the pan and add all the ingredients there. Pour the minced meat, frying on top of carrots and onions.
    Then we combine the minced meat with rice, cabbage and previously fried vegetables in one container.
  18. Mix until smooth.
    Mix all the ingredients well.
  19. Now we put it all in the dishes in which we will stew (a glass or ceramic vessel for the oven). Cabbage leaves can be placed at the bottom of the vessel.
    We spread the mass into baking dishes or pots.
  20. Pour on top with our sauce and a little spoonful of minced meat so that the sauce flows down.
    Top the ingredients with sauce.
  21. Top with pepper, peas (4-5 pcs.) And cover with cabbage leaves. Cover with a lid.
    Like a lid, cover the dish with cabbage leaves and send to the oven.
  22. We send to the oven for 1 hour 30 minutes, 180 degrees.
