Kitchen appliances and utensils:2 deep bowls, rolling pin, cling film, plastic bag, sieve, pressure cooker.

Ingredients

Wheat flour 1 kg
Water 500 ml
Cabbage 1 PC.
Carrot 2 pcs.
Onion 1 PC.
Vegetable oil 2 tbsp. l
Salt 1.5 tbsp. l
Ground black pepper taste

  1. For 1 kg of sifted wheat flour we take 500 ml of hot boiled water, in which we first completely dissolve 1 tbsp. l salt. We combine the flour with water and begin to knead the dough: first we make it with a spoon, and then go to manual kneading.
    To prepare the dough, combine the sifted flour with salted water.
  2. Sprinkle the work surface with flour and knead the dough for 2-3 minutes, then cover it with a clean deep bowl and leave for 20 minutes. We do not throw out all the flour that the dough has not taken - it will come in handy later on.
    Knead the dough well and give it a few minutes to rest.
  3. After 20 minutes, knead the dough again for 2-3 minutes (it will already be more elastic and supple) and send "rest" for another 30 minutes.

  4. After that, again we knead the dough well, form a sufficiently wide sausage from it (about 5 cm in diameter), wrap it in a plastic bag so that air does not enter, and leave it to lie down for 10-15 minutes. The dough is ready.

  1. For the filling, take 1 medium cabbage, 2 carrots and 1-2 onions, rinse all this, remove the unusable parts and chop: finely chop the cabbage, rub the carrots on a fine grater, and chop the onion into small cubes. Add aromatic vegetable oil, salt and pepper to taste.
    To prepare the filling, combine cabbage with onions and carrots.
  2. We take out the dough for manti from the bag and cut it into portioned slices 1 phalanx of the thumb. So that the finished pieces are not weathered, cover them with cling film or put in a bag.

  3. Using a rolling pin, we roll out the workpiece into a square, squeeze the edges to make it easier to sculpt.
