Viburnum fruit drink - very healthy and refreshing

  • pan at least 1.5 liters;
  • spoon;
  • deep bowl;
  • pusher or blender;
  • scales if you want to measure the exact weight.

Ingredients

Viburnum 400 g
Water 500 ml
Sugar 300 g
Did you know? You can prepare a larger amount of the drink, taking into account the proposed proportions. In the growing season, viburnum can be collected independently or purchased in a store or in the market. It well retains its beneficial properties even when frozen, so you can store it portionwise in the freezer on demand and drink delicious fruit drinks all year round.

Step cooking

  1. First, prepare the viburnum. For fruit drinks we take 400 g of berries. We send viburnum to a deep bowl, fill it with water, remove all the garbage that comes up. Change the water until all the garbage disappears. Then we send the berries in a colander and let all the water drain.
    Wash the viburnum berries and dry them a little.
  2. Then we send the dry viburnum to a deep saucepan, knead a crush, you can chop it with a blender.

  3. Then add 500 ml of water, mix, send to a small fire.
    Pour viburnum with water.
  4. Add 300 g of sugar to the pan, mix again. You can adjust the amount of sugar yourself, it depends on your preference.
    Add sugar.
  5. After boiling, make the fire small and boil for 1-2 minutes.
    Bring the drink to a boil.
  6. Then cover and leave to cool.
    turn off the pan, cover and let the drink brew.

    If desired, a more healthy drink can be made from viburnum. To do this, simply boil the berries with water, then add a few slices of orange, mint leaves. Let cool and add honey (instead of sugar) to taste. Be sure to add honey to the already cooled liquid so that it retains its beneficial properties.
  7. We filter the fruit drink, remove the remaining berries, but you do not need to throw them away. They can be used as a filling for pies or just eat, mixed with sugar or honey.
    Ready juice from viburnum must be filtered.
  8. We serve a drink to your favorite dessert or drink without additional food. This healing fruit juice will fill your body with vitamin C, protect against colds, strengthen immunity.
