Ingredients

sugar 0.5 stack

Step cooking

  1. We turn on the hob, pour 1 liter of water into a pan of the appropriate size, put on fire to boil. From fresh, high-quality sea-buckthorn berries, we select and discard sticks and any garbage that often comes across. When choosing sea buckthorn, pay attention to the color - it should be bright yellow. Berries should be dry, not crumpled, not glued to other berries, tight to the touch.
    Thoroughly wash the sea buckthorn, choose sticks and garbage.
  2. We send sea buckthorn into a deep bowl, fill it with water, remove all the garbage that comes up. Change the water until all the garbage disappears. Then we send the berries in a colander and let all the water drain. We spread 250 g of sea buckthorn in a sieve, rub it with a ceramic mortar or a wooden rolling pin.
    Grind the berries through a sieve.

    Important! The metal pusher cannot be used, because the juice of the berries, in contact with the metal, creates undesirable elements for the body. You can also grind them in a blender. Given the proposed proportions, you can also make more drinks.
  3. We filter the fruit drink, remove the remaining berries, but you do not need to throw them away. Use them as a filling for pies, or you can just eat them mixed with sugar or honey.
    We filter the juice obtained after grinding the berries.
  4. Pour the fruit juice into the pan, add 0.5 cups of sugar, mix again. You can adjust the amount of sugar yourself, it depends on your preference. Instead of sugar, you can use honey, then the taste will change a little, and from honey, fruit drink will become even more useful.
    Add sugar to sea buckthorn puree, mix.
  5. Sweet juice is diluted with warm boiled water. You do not need to pour out all the water at once, add a little, try, bring to the desired consistency, mix. Pour into a glass dish, put in the refrigerator for cooling. You can store such fruit drinks for about 4 days in the refrigerator.
    We dilute the juice with hot boiled water, choosing the necessary consistency and taste.
  6. Delicious healthy fruit drink is ready to eat. Can be served warm or chilled.
