- We rinse under running water 0.5 kg of pork and remove moisture from its surface with a kitchen paper towel. We put the meat on a cutting board and cut it into slices with a knife, as for chops.
- We beat off each piece with a meat hammer on both sides and sprinkle on top 1 tsp. salt and 0.5 tsp ground black pepper.
Sauce
- We wash 3 branches of dill under running water, dry them, cut the stems and chop the greens. We spread 100 g of mayonnaise into a deep bowl, squeeze 3 cloves of garlic into it through a press and add chopped dill, then mix with a spoon until smooth.
Vegetables
- Peel 0.5 kg of potato, cut it into thin circles and place in a deep container.
- Sprinkle chopped potatoes with 0.5 tsp. salt, 0.5 tsp mixtures "Provencal herbs", 0.5 tsp. black pepper and add 1 tbsp. l sunflower oil, then mix thoroughly.
- Peel 200 g of onion from the husk and cut it into thin rings.
- We wash 300 g of tomatoes under running water, divide into halves, cut the stem and cut into thin crescents.
French meat
- Turn on the oven at 200-210 ° C and leave to warm. Lubricate the baking dish with 1 tbsp. l sunflower oil and spread a layer of half the potatoes, evenly distribute the circles and grease the sauce on top. We spread a layer of half onion rings on the potatoes, then pieces of pork, and again grease the sauce well. After the sauce, lay the second half of the potatoes on top, spread with the sauce, the second half of the chopped onion on it, and then spread the tomatoes with an even layer.
- We send the form to the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes. Rub on a coarse grater 150 g of cheese.
- After 30-40 minutes, we take out the form from the oven, sprinkle the tomatoes with grated cheese and return the form to the oven for another 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, we take out the form from the oven, divide the meat and vegetables into portions, put it on a dinner plate and serve.
Important!For this dish, you need to choose meat without veins and fatty layers, so a ham or low-fat neck is suitable.
