pork 500 g
onion 1-2 pcs.
sweet pepper 1 PC.
hard cheese 200 g
mayonnaise 180-200 g
salt taste
ground black pepper taste
vegetable oil 2-3 tbsp. l

Step cooking

  1. To prepare this dish you will need 500 g of pork tenderloin without rough veins and films. You can also use beef, chicken or turkey fillet. Rinse the meat thoroughly under cold running water and pat dry with paper towels. Cut the pork across the fibers with plates about 1 cm thick. To make this easier and the slices to be even, you can slightly freeze the meat in the freezer.

  2. Alternately beat each layer of meat from two sides on a cutting board with a kitchen hammer. In order not to damage the fibers much and to do it more accurately and cleaner, you can cover the meat with cling film or place the meat layer in a clean plastic bag. Salt the beaten meat and pepper with black ground pepper to taste on both sides.

  3. Depending on the size, peel 1-2 onions, rinse and cut into quarter rings. Rinse one bell pepper thoroughly, remove the core and seeds. Then chop the pepper into small cubes.

  4. Grate 200 g of hard cheese on a coarse grater and place it on a deep plate. Add about 180-200 g of mayonnaise to the cheese and mix well until smooth.

  5. Grease a baking sheet for about 2-3 tbsp. l vegetable oil with a silicone brush. If desired, you can pre-cover the pan with parchment paper. Put the meat on a baking sheet tight to each other. Sprinkle the meat on top with chopped onions. Then put the cubes of bell pepper, and with the last layer evenly distribute the mixture of cheese and mayonnaise.

  6. Preheat the oven to 180 ºС and send the meat to bake for about 40 minutes. When ready, transfer the meat with a beautiful golden crust of cheese to a serving dish and decorate with herbs to taste. Serve the meat in French hot.
