Step cooking

Cooking dough for pasties

Pour 500 g of flour into a bowl, salt and mix. Next, pour 50 ml of vegetable oil and 150 ml of boiling water, mix well too. The dough should be thick, like dumplings. Cover the bowl and leave the dough to rest for 30 minutes.

After the rest, we think a little more dough and round it. We tear the dough into pieces, 50 grams each, then thinly roll the dough without flour, it is very elastic. Spread the minced meat on half the workpiece and level it well. Next, fold the workpiece in half and press the edges well with a fork, this is important.

We put the frying pan on the stove to warm up, pour in sunflower oil about 2.5 cm high and also heat it. Fry chebureks on each side until golden brown. Put ready chebureks for 30 seconds on a paper towel so that excess fat is gone. Chebureks are ready!

Tips

  • To keep the filling juicy, give preference to lamb or pork, but if you still decide to take beef, then add a little pork fat to the stuffing.
  • Do not spare the water and raw onions for the preparation of minced meat.
  • Chebureks are always fried in a deep pan and should be bathed in sunflower oil. Do not worry, all excess fat will remain on a paper towel.
