You can use a mineral water with and without gas, and even ordinary boiled water. According to many housewives, this version of the dish is no worse than the usual and more common okroshka on kvass. A few rules for a good okroshka

  1. Use a lot of fresh vegetables and herbs. Okroshka on the water is a summer dish. And you need to cook it from what has grown in the garden or appeared in large numbers on the market. Cucumbers and radishes are invariably used for it; potatoes are added for satiety. You can also put a tomato, if you like tomatoes. Do not stand on ceremony with greens. Put everything at hand. Mandatory green onions, in the same amount, put parsley and dill. Like cilantro, basil, oregano? In this dish they will be very handy!
  2. Use spices. Often in the first couple the hostesses worry about making the soup excessively sharp, using only vegetables, salt and sour cream. But in this way it is impossible to get a tasty dish, as it will be fresh. To add taste, it is recommended to mix mayonnaise with sour cream. Do not want to burden the stomach with mayonnaise in the heat, then use mustard, horseradish, vinegar, lemon juice. Light sourness and bitterness will make the dish spicy, interesting.
  3. Pour in water only after the vegetables have been seasoned. It is important to prepare a thick mass: mix all the ingredients, add spices for taste. And only then pour water, otherwise the taste will not be pronounced.
  4. Use ice-cold water only or keep in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before use. This will make the okroshka recipe on water perfect.
  5. If you cook a large volume for the first time, do not pour all the vegetables at once. Set aside in a separate bowl, season and add water. Then try on salt, spices. Maybe something needs to be added. If it turns out to be liquid, put more vegetables.   • boiled potatoes - 0.5 kg;
  • boiled eggs - 5 pcs.;
  • boiled beef - 400 g,
  • dill, green onions, parsley - 1 bunch each;
  • large cucumbers - 2 pcs.;
  • water - 1-1.5 l;
  • mayonnaise - 150 g;
  • mustard - 2-3 tsp;
  • large lemon - half.

Cooking

  1. Boil water, cool, refrigerate.
  2. Chop potatoes, meat, cucumbers into cubes of convenient size. Remove the yolks from the eggs, cut only the whites.
  3. Mash the yolks with a fork, mix with mustard, salt and juice from half a lemon. Add ice water, mix.
  4. The resulting mass season the ingredients, add mayonnaise, herbs. Mix.

You will need:

  • potatoes - 0.5 kg;
  • boiled chicken eggs - 5 pcs.;
  • radish - 200 g;
  • cucumbers - 300 g;
  • parsley, green onion, dill - 1 bunch each;
  • fat kefir - 200 ml;
  • mustard - 1 tsp;
  • salt - 0.5 tsp;
  • ground black pepper - ¼ tsp;
  • mineral water - 1 l.

Cooking

  1. Boil potatoes and eggs, cool.
  2. Wash radishes and cucumbers. For old fruits, it is better to peel off the skin so that it does not get bitter.
  3. Dice all the ingredients. Radishes can be cut into circles.
  4. Chop greens without using stiff stems.
  5. Make a dressing: mix salt and pepper, mustard and kefir.
  6. Add to ingredients and mix thoroughly. Refill the dish 30 minutes before consumption. After which, pour water and send the soup for half an hour in the refrigerator.

Okroshka on the water with vinegar
