Cereals 80 g
Eggs 2 pcs.
Sour cream 1 tbsp. l
Soda ¼ tsp
Lemon juice ½ tsp
Honey 2 tbsp. l
Butter 50 g

Step cooking

  1. Turn on the oven at 180 ° C. This temperature is recommended for baking most of the confectionery. Drive 2 eggs into a deep bowl and beat with a fork a little. In principle, it is not necessary to beat the eggs in foam, the main thing is to mix them well.
    Beat eggs lightly.
  2. Take 2 tablespoons of honey. If honey is already sugared, it must be melted in a water bath or in the microwave. If honey is liquid, then immediately send it to a bowl with eggs. Mix everything thoroughly.
    Add liquid honey to the eggs, mix.
  3. Add 1 tablespoon of sour cream to the mixture. Sour cream can be of any fat content, the main thing is that it is fresh. Sour cream can be replaced with fat yogurt or kefir, only then you will have to put a little more flour.
    Add sour cream as well.
  4. Melt the butter (in a water bath, in the microwave, in a small saucepan). Add slightly cooled to the rest of the mixture. Now mix everything well and beat the whisk so that there are no lumps left. It should turn out a beautiful homogeneous mass.

  5. Now prepare the flour. We take whole-grain flour. It has a darker color, and particles of different sizes come across in it. The main quality of such flour is that it contains fiber and a number of vitamins. Sifting such flour is not necessary, and it is difficult because of the large grains that come across. Therefore, simply pour 300 g of flour into a large, deep bowl.

  6. Pour in flour ¼ tsp. soda, which we extinguish with either lemon juice or vinegar (as an option, with any other food acid - for example, juice from an orange slice or grapefruit).
    Add slaked soda to the flour.
  7. Pour 80 g of oatmeal and mix well with flour.
    Add the oatmeal, mix.
  8. Pour all the mixed liquid ingredients into the resulting dry mixture and start kneading the dough.
    We introduce the liquid components into the flour and knead the dough.
  9. The dough should not stick to your hands, but may leave a greasy shine.

  10. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a layer with a thickness of about 1 cm.

  11. Traditional oatmeal cookies are made round, so we take a regular glass and squeeze out circles in the dough. If you want, you can use a wide variety of cookie cutters.
    Squeeze cookies from the dough layer using a mold or a glass.
  12. We collect and roll out the excess dough again. Cut out. And so on until the end.
    Form cookies until all dough is over.
  13. We put the future cookies on a baking sheet. There is no need to lubricate the surface. You can put parchment paper. Put in the oven and bake for 20 minutes.
