Ingredients

Beef liver 700 g
Onion 2 pcs.
Butter 30 g
Milk 1 stack
Sour cream 1 stack
Flour 1 tbsp. l
Tomato paste 2 tbsp. l
Salt 1.5 tsp
Ground black pepper 1/2 tsp

  1. If you have purchased 700 g of frozen beef liver, you must first thaw it at room temperature and remove the film from all sides. If you skip this preparatory stage, the liver will turn out to be very stiff, no matter how long you put it out.

  2. Cut the liver into long, narrow strips with a thickness of not more than 6-7 mm. If the stripes of the liver are too wide or long, cut them in half. The optimal length of each piece is 3-4 cm.

  3. Transfer the beef liver into a deep plate and pour 1 cup of milk. Leave the liver to stand for 30 minutes, so that it becomes a little softer and more tender.
