  • kitchen scale or measuring cup;
  • tablespoon;
  • baking dish;
  • silicone spatula;
  • parchment;
  • food wrap.

Ingredients

Wheat flour 420 g
Butter / Margarine 200 g / 1 pack
Chicken egg 2 pcs.
Sugar 300 g
Baking powder 2 tsp
Jam, jam, jam (to taste) For filling

Step cooking

  1. Combine in a bowl sugar, a pinch of salt and soft butter at room temperature.
    In a bowl, combine oil, a pinch of salt and sugar.
  2. Beat the ingredients with a mixer at high speed into a homogeneous mixture for 5 to 6 minutes until the mass is clarified.
    Beat butter with sugar with a mixer until a lush mass is obtained.
  3. Alternately introduce chicken eggs into the mass. Continue whisking for 2 to 3 minutes at high speed. For this recipe, use room temperature eggs.
    One by one, whipping, we introduce eggs into this mass.
  4. Dry ingredients - mix flour and baking powder. Sift half of the total dry ingredients into the previously whipped mixture. Mix well.
    Sift the flour with baking powder into the oil mass in parts.
  5. Gradually add the remaining dry foods. Keep in mind that the finished dough should have a soft and elastic structure, so do not bother in the process of kneading it.
    Pouring flour, knead a smooth dough.
  6. Sprinkle a small amount of flour on the work surface, transfer the dough from the bowl onto it.
    We spread the dough on a work surface.
  7. Visually divide the dough into three equal parts, separate one of which and wrap it in cling film. 2/3 of the mass of the dough will serve as the basis of the cake, and 1/3 - the upper grated layer.

  8. Remove the portion of the dough wrapped in a film into the freezer for 30 to 40 minutes. Wrap the remaining 2/3 of the dough into the film and put it in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes to cool.
    We leave one third of the dough to sprinkle the pie, and a large one will be its base, we send them to the refrigerator.
  9. Cover the baking dish with parchment. If there is no parchment, grease the bottom and walls of the mold with a small amount of vegetable oil so that the edges of the pie do not stick to the mold.
    Cover the baking sheet with parchment.
  10. Hands align the base of the pie on it.
    We level the base for the pie on a baking sheet.
  11. Brush the base of the cake with a layer of your favorite jam or jam.
    Lubricate the base with jam or jam.
  12. After time, remove the dough from the freezer and rub it on a coarse grater, like the top layer of a pie.
    On a coarse grater over jam, rub a small piece of frozen dough.
  13. Put the cake to bake for 30 - 40 minutes in the oven previously heated to 180ºС. The finished cake should have a nice golden crust on top.
    We send the cake to the oven.
  14. Transfer the cake from the baking dish to the dish. Allow time to cool before serving.
    As you can see, crumb pie with jam is very easy to prepare.

You can serve grated pie both in a warm and already cooled state. A great addition to it will be fresh fruits or berries. Add honey or just sprinkle with powdered sugar, depending on the degree of sweetness of the filling.
