Ingredients

Whole Grain Flour 250 g
Water 100 ml
Olive oil 30 ml
Cabbage 300 g

Garlic 1 clove

Milk 100 ml
Cheese 30 g
Salt pepper taste
Caraway 0.5 tsp
Thyme 0.5 tsp
Did you know? To prepare the dough, we use whole grain flour, as it is rich in vitamins, nutrients and more useful. However, it makes the dough coarse. Such flour can be replaced with conventional flour or half the volume of wheat flour can be used, and half the whole grain flour volume.

Step cooking

Dough

  1. In a deep bowl, combine 250 g of whole grain flour and 100 ml of water, knead.
    Pour whole grain flour into a bowl, add water.
  2. Then pour in 30 ml of olive oil.

  3. Knead thoroughly until a uniform bowl is formed. The dough turns out taut.

Filling

  1. Let's prepare the filling. Cut the onion into thin half rings.
    Chop the onion to make the filling.
  2. Pour 1 tsp into the pan. olive oil, heat over medium heat and fry the onion until golden brown.

  5. Add the cabbage to the pan to the rest of the ingredients. Pour 3 tbsp. l water, cover and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes over low heat, periodically adding water and stirring. Cabbage should be soft.
    Add cabbage to the pan, as well as a little water.
  6. Crush one clove of garlic with the flat side of a knife and finely chop. Add it to the cabbage.
    Grind the garlic and also add it to the filling.
  7. Finely chop the parsley, we don’t use the stems, since they are too hard, we send them to the pan.
    We also grind fresh herbs and add to the filling.
  8. At the very end of cooking vegetables, salt, pepper to taste, add 0.5 tsp. caraway and thyme. The filling for the pie is ready, then we will prepare the filling.
    At the end, salt the filling, add spices.

Pouring and pie forming

  1. Drive 3 eggs into a deep bowl, add 100 ml of milk and a pinch of salt to them, beat with a whisk.
    To fill the pie, beat the eggs with milk and salt.
  2. Then rub 30 g of any hard cheese on a fine grater.

  3. Next, we form a cake. Put the cooled filling on the dough, evenly distribute it around the entire perimeter of the dough.
