Kitchen appliances and utensils:

  • 2 bowls (with a capacity of 3 and 4 liters);
  • cutting board;
  • 2 graters (common for Korean carrots);
  • kitchen knife.

Carrot 250 g

Vegetable oil 60-80 ml
Cream 10% fat 100 ml
Wheat flour, premium 220-250 g
Baking powder for the dough 0.5 tsp
Starch 1 tbsp. l

Spices (a mixture of peppers, Italian herbs) taste

Water 400 ml
Any red fish is used to make the pie. If desired, a mixture of Italian herbs can be replaced with Provencal herbs, dry basil or oregano, add a little lemon grass.

  1. Wash the carrots, peel, separate from the total amount of 150 grams. Cook until cooked. Cool, rub on a fine grater. Put in a large bowl (4 liter capacity).
    On a grater we rub the carrots boiled until ready.
  2. Add softened butter (50 g) to grated carrots.
    Add oil to the carrots.
  3. Mix well. Salt.
    Mix the butter with carrots, salt.
  4. Sift flour (250 g), add baking powder for dough (0.5 tsp) to flour, mix. Add flour in small portions to a bowl of grated carrots with butter.
    Gradually introduce the flour and knead the dough.
  5. When kneading, you should get a soft dough (which is why do not sprinkle all the flour at once). Cover the dough with a towel.
    The dough should be soft.

Cooking toppings

  1. Rinse the rice (50 g). Boil the rice until cooked (20-25 minutes) in salted water (400 ml). Fold the rice in a colander, leave to cool.

  2. Cut the peeled onions (150 g) into thin half rings.

  3. Grate raw peeled carrots (100 g - the one that was put aside) on a Korean grater with not very long fibers (2-3 cm).

  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan (60 ml) well. Put chopped onions and carrots in a pan. Fry until tender with constant stirring for 7-10 minutes. Let the mixture cool.

  5. Cut red fish fillet (250 g) into pieces about 1.5 cm by 2 cm in size.
    Cut the fillet of red fish without bones into small pieces.
  6. Put onions with carrots, rice and pieces of red fish in a deep bowl (with a capacity of 3 l).
    In a bowl we combine fish, onions with carrots, and also rice.
  7. Add cream (100 ml) to a bowl, beat in an egg (1 pc.), Salt and pepper to taste, add a mixture of Italian herbs (amount of your choice). Mix well.
    Add cream, egg, Italian herbs and mix.

Pie assembly

  1. Cover the bottom of the detachable shape with parchment paper, grease the sides with vegetable oil (20 ml).
    Cover the bottom of the split baking dish with parchment and grease the walls with vegetable oil.
  2. Put the dough in the middle of the mold. Using your fingers and a clenched fist, distribute the dough all over the bottom of the mold, and form dough sides about 3 cm high.
    We spread the dough in the form and make the bottom and sides for the pie out of it.
  3. Sprinkle the bottom of the dough piece evenly with starch (1 tbsp.).

  4. Put the filling on the dough, smooth with a spoon.
    We lay out the filling and level it.
  5. Bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 40-50 minutes (the exact cooking time depends on your oven). Remove the finished cake from the oven.

  6. Finely chop the pre-washed green onions. Sprinkle chopped green onions on top of the pie. Wait until the cake has cooled completely, divide in portions.
