Original and beautiful fish pie in the oven. Using a simple recipe, you can easily bake such a meal. You will learn how to knead light yeast dough and make a delicious filling. You will see a very interesting way of product design, which will allow you to cook a dish worthy of even a festive table.

  • parchment paper;
  • bowls for ingredients and kneading dough;

  • rolling pin;
  • lid for a bowl or towel.

Ingredients

Warm milk 120 ml
Flour 450 g

Hard cheese 50 g
Sugar 1/2 tsp

Dry yeast 5 g

Mayonnaise 1 tbsp. l
Vegetable oil 40 ml

Step cooking

Dough

  1. Take 120 g of warm potato broth, add half a teaspoon of sugar and 5 g of dry yeast to it. Stir and leave the dough for 10 minutes to make yeast.
    In warm water, add dry yeast and sugar.
  2. Pour 120 ml of warm milk into a bowl, add 1/3 teaspoon of salt and mix.
    Add salt to warm milk.
  3. Then we pour into it a suitable dough and 30 ml of vegetable oil, again mix well.
    Introduce dough into milk, as well as vegetable oil.
  4. Gradually add the sifted flour. To prepare a soft dough, almost not sticky to your hands, you need about 400-420 g (we focus on consistency). Knead the dough first in a bowl, then put it on a table sprinkled with flour.
    Add the flour and knead the dough.
  5. Put well-kneaded dough in a bowl for raising. Cover the bowl with a lid or towel.
    Knead the dough and leave it to rise in a warm place.
  6. When the dough increases by 2-3 times, we crush it and leave to rise again.
    When the dough rises, it is necessary to knead it and wait until it comes up again.

Filling

  1. Boil 3 eggs. Finely chop one onion. The smaller you manage to chop it, the better.
    Grind the onion.
  2. We put canned fish in a bowl (any canned food is suitable, we suggest using pink salmon), we do not need oil or brine from it. Knead the fish with a fork.

  3. On a coarse grater, rub 50 g of hard cheese and 3 boiled eggs.

  4. Finely chop the greens (green onions and dill are ideal, but you can take any greens you love).

  5. Pour onion, eggs, cheese and greens into a bowl of fish, add a tablespoon of mayonnaise, a little salt and black pepper, mix everything thoroughly until smooth.
    We combine all the crushed components for the filling and season with mayonnaise.

Making a cake

  1. Put the dough on a table sprinkled with flour, roll it and roll it into a round layer with a diameter of about 28-30 cm. To give it a more even shape, you can put a lid or plate on the layer and circle it around the perimeter. Put the dough off to the side, they will still be useful to us.
    Roll out the dough into a rather large circle and cut out an even shape.
  2. We cover the baking sheet with baking paper, slightly greased with vegetable oil, and transfer the prepared dough layer to it.
    We shift the circle of dough onto a baking sheet covered with parchment.
  3. We spread the filling around the circumference, without occupying the center of the layer and not reaching a few centimeters to its edges.
    Spread the filling in a circle, avoiding the center of the dough.
  4. Cut the middle of the test into 4 sectors and wrap them towards the edge, connecting with it.
    So you need to pinch the dough on this cake.
  5. We bend the remaining free edges, making a rim around the filling.
    We twist the edges near the protruding filling so that it does not fall out.
  6. From the remains of the dough we sculpt a lump, roll it out and cut out figures similar to fish.
    From the remains of the dough we cut out the fish to decorate the baking dish.
  7. They decorate the remaining areas of the filling not covered with dough.
    We spread the fish in the place where the filling is visible.
  8. Beat the egg yolk and grease the surface of the pie with it. Leave the cake for 10-15 minutes to raise.
    Before baking, grease the cake with a beaten egg.
  9. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 200 degrees and send the cake to bake for 30-35 minutes - until browning.
    To prepare such a pie with fish in the oven is not difficult even for a novice hostess.
