Milk 100 ml
Pressed yeast 15 g (or 5 g dry)
Chicken egg 2 pcs.
Salt 1/3 tsp
Sugar 3 tbsp. l + 1 stack.
Butter 50 g
Vanilla sugar 1 sachet
Fresh pitted cherries 600 g
Potato starch 1 tbsp. l with a slide

  • Pour warm milk into a deep bowl for kneading dough, add yeast and from the total amount of 1 tbsp. l Sahara.
  • Sift a small amount of flour into a bowl so that the dough turns out by consistency, like thick sour cream.
  • We cover the finished sponge with a towel and leave it in a warm place for about 20 minutes. It should increase in volume by 2-2.5 times.
  • Break 2 eggs into a separate bowl, add salt and mix well. Add all remaining sugar, 1 sachet of vanilla sugar and softened butter. Mix well until smooth.
  • Pour the egg-sugar mass into a dough and mix.
  • In the finished mixture, gradually introduce the sifted flour and begin to knead the dough. First, this can be done with a spatula, and then, when the dough has gathered in a lump, pour 1 tbsp. l vegetable oil and knead with your hands. Please note that less or more flour may be needed, depending on the characteristics of the flour itself.
  • After kneading, put the dough in a clean bowl, greased with vegetable oil. Cover with cling film and leave for 30 minutes. After that, we make the first warm-up and leave it covered for 20 minutes again. Next, do the second heat and leave it covered for 30 minutes.

  1. We put the finished dough on a table sprinkled with flour or a silicone baking mat. Next, divide it into equal pieces of about 50 g. For convenience, you can use the scales, but if you do not have them, you can divide them by eye.

  2. We roll each piece into balls, put it in a row, grease with vegetable oil and cover with cling film. Leave for 5 minutes, so that the dough rests and rolls easily.

  3. Roll the dough into round cakes and turn over. This is done so that the top of the pie is smooth. We roll it in different directions to make the cake more round. You also need to make sure that the dough rolls evenly. In a shallow bowl mix 1 tbsp. sugar and 1 tbsp. l potato starch with a slide.
