Kitchen appliances and utensils:

  • cutting board;
  • grater;
  • knife, spoon;
  • pan;
  • pan or pot for the oven.
  • pan with boiling water;
  • deep bowl with cold water.

Ingredients

Rice, better long-grain 1 stack
Meat (pork, veal, turkey or chicken) 300-400 g
Onion 1 head
Carrot 1-2 pcs.
Sweet bell pepper 1 PC.
Hot peppers 1/6 pod
Tomatoes 4 things.
Cooking Oil 4-5 Art. l
Salt taste
Coriander, turmeric, black pepper or a ready-made mix of spices for pilaf taste
Dill small bunch
Garlic 4-5 slices

Step cooking

  1. We prepare the onion: we clean the large head, wash it and cut into medium-sized pieces. Fry onions in a pan in a small amount of vegetable oil.
    Cut the onion and spread it in a frying pan.

    Did you know? Onions will be softer and tastier, if not just fry it, but passer. To do this, first quickly fry the onion slices for 3-4 minutes in oil, and then pour a little hot water. As soon as the water evaporates and the frying starts to hiss, add water again. When the water evaporates a second time, add the carrots and fry them all together until tender.
  2. One or two carrots three on a coarse grater, add to the pan, where the onions are already fried. Fry everything until cooked.
    Grate carrots and add it to the onion pan.
  3. Remove from heat and lay with the first layer on the bottom of the dishes in which we will cook. The pan may be made of refractory glass or metal. The main thing is that it does not have plastic parts that will damage the high temperature of the oven.
    We shift carrots with onions into a cauldron, which we will then send to the oven.
  4. We wash the meat (300 - 400 g), cut into cubes and put in a freed pan, after adding a little oil to it.
    We cut the meat into pieces and fry it first in a pan.
  5. Salt, fry over high heat until golden brown for about 10 minutes, and put in the next layer in a pan.
    We shift the meat to the cauldron for vegetables.
  6. My sweet pepper, cut lengthwise, take out the core and the stalk. Cut into small cubes and pour on top of the meat.
    Dice the bell pepper.
  7. A small piece of hot pepper (about 1/6 of the pod) is finely chopped and added to the rest of the ingredients.
    Cut a few slices of hot pepper.
  8. Peel 4 fresh tomatoes. To do this, make a cross-shaped incision at the top of each fruit and send the tomatoes into boiling water for 2-3 minutes.
    Having made cross-shaped incisions on the tomatoes, we spread them in boiling water.
  9. We take out and transfer for 2-3 minutes in a bowl with cold water.
    Immediately with boiling water, transfer the tomatoes to cold water.
  10. After such manipulations, the peel from the tomatoes is removed very easily.
    Now easily peel the tomatoes and cut them.
  11. Cut peeled tomatoes into cubes and put in a pan.
    We shift vegetables to the cauldron.
  12. Add a chopped bunch of dill and spices (coriander, turmeric, black pepper). You can use an already prepared mixture of spices for pilaf. We also put 4-5 peeled garlic cloves whole. Then generously salt our future dish.
    Add chopped herbs, spices, salt, and also garlic.
  13. We wash a glass of rice several times in cold water. This is necessary so that the croup does not stick together during the cooking process. Some housewives even pre-soak the rice in cold water for half an hour or an hour. We spread the rice in a cauldron.
    Add a glass of washed rice.
  14. At the end, pour water so that it covers all the ingredients.
    Fill all the components of the dish with water so that it completely covers them.
  15. Preheat the oven at 160-180 degrees, put in it a pilaf closed with a lid. After 20 minutes, check if necessary - add hot water and put it in the oven again for 25-30 minutes until the rice is ready.
