  • tea spoon;
  • tablespoon;
  • knife;
  • silicone brush;
  • pan;
  • deep dishes for ingredients;
  • hob;
  • garlic press.

Ingredients

Product amount
yeast pita 2 sheets
chicken breast 300 g
a tomato 1 PC.
cucumber 2 pcs.
cabbage 150 g
olive oil 1 tbsp. l
leek 1 PC.
kefir 1% 50 ml
low-fat sour cream 100 g
garlic 2 tooth.
dill taste
salt pinch
pepper pinch

Step cooking

  1. We wash the chicken fillet weighing 300 g and cut into small pieces.
    Cut the chicken into pieces.
  2. Add to the fillet 1 tbsp. l olive oil, salt and pepper to taste. Mix the meat well and leave for 15 minutes for marinating.
    Add salt, pepper, olive oil to the chicken.
  3. We take 1 tomato and 2 medium cucumbers, wash them and cut into half rings.
    We cut in half rings a fresh cucumber and tomato.
  4. Peel 1 onion and chop it the same way as the rest of the vegetables.

  5. Finely chop 150 g of cabbage and slightly crush it with your hands.

  6. Fry the pickled chicken in a pan without adding vegetable oil.

  7. In a deep bowl, mix 50 ml of kefir and 100 g of sour cream.
    To prepare the sauce, mix low-fat sour cream and kefir.
  8. There we add 2 cloves of garlic, passed through a press. Finely chop a bunch of dill and send it to the kefir-sour cream mixture. Add salt and pepper to the ingredients to taste and mix thoroughly.
    Add chopped herbs and garlic to the sauce.
  9. Grease a sheet of pita bread with the finished sauce.
    Lubricate the resulting pita leaf sauce.
  10. On one side of the pita bread lay the fried chicken, cabbage, onions, cucumbers and tomatoes in layers.
    We spread all the prepared components on one side of the pita bread.
  11. We turn everything into a roll.
    Gently roll the pita roll.
  12. Fry it on both sides in a pan without using oil.
    Fry the shawarma on both sides in a pan.
  13. We do the same with the second sheet of pita bread. PP shawarma is ready to eat!
