Kitchen appliances and utensils

  • kitchen scales and other measuring accessories;
  • gauze fabric;
  • three-liter bottle;
  • large pan;
  • glass bottle;
  • wooden spatula.

Ingredients

  • grape pulp - 7.5-8.5 kg
  • granulated sugar - 1 kg 200 g
  • bottled water - 5 l
  • wine or table vinegar - 500 ml

Step cooking

First way

  1. In a dry and clean three-liter jar we spread 1.5 kg of grape pulp left over from wine or another product. We put grape pulp in the jar.
  2. Separately, mix 1.5 liters of bottled water and 200 g of granulated sugar. We stir both components until the crystals of the latter completely dissolve in the liquid. Pour sweet water into a bottle on top of the grape pulp. Dissolve sugar in water and pour it to the grape pulp.
  3. Using a long wooden spatula or spoon, carefully mix the ingredients until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Mix the contents of the jar well.
  4. We cover the neck of the jar with gauze cloth folded in 2-3 layers, and then we put a cap with holes on top of it. We send the vessel with the contents to a dark room with room temperature. We insist grape raw materials for 2.5-3 months. cover the jar with gauze and a lid with holes.
  5. After this time, carefully filter the vinegar through a homemade gauze-cotton filter and pour into clean glass bottles. Grape vinegar will be ready in 3 months.

Second way

  1. In a suitable pot, spread 6-7 kg of grape pulp. Spread the pulp in a pan.
  2. In a separate container, we dilute 1 kg of granulated sugar in 3 liters of bottled water. As soon as the grains of the sweet component are completely dissolved in the liquid, pour the sweet water into the pan to the grape pulp. It is very important that the water completely covers the grape pulp by at least 1 cm. If there is not enough liquid, then add the missing amount of pure water without sugar. Mix water with sugar and pour the pulp.
  3. Stir the ingredients thoroughly, and then cover the pan with gauze cloth folded in 2-3 layers. We put the wort in a warm, dark place, where we insist for 3 weeks. During this time, once a day, thoroughly stir the contents of the pan. Cover the pan with gauze and leave the mass to roam.
  4. After the specified time, we filter the grape mixture and pour it into a dry clean container. Pour 500 ml of wine or table vinegar there and stir everything well. We cover the vessel with gauze and place it in a warm dark place for 1 month. Once the liquid has completely fermented and becomes lighter, grape vinegar is considered ready. Pour the finished product into glass bottles and store in a cool place. This is a simple recipe for making grape vinegar at home.
