Ingredients

Millet 1 cup
Pumpkin 400 g
Water 200 ml
Cream 15% 100-150 ml
Milk 450 ml
Sugar 2.5-3 Art. l
Salt 1 tsp

Step cooking

  1. Take 1 cup of millet, pour boiling water, mix and place on a sieve.
    First, wash the millet and pour it with boiling water.
  2. Due to this, the croup will swell a little, become more malleable for cooking and clear of excess litter.
    Throw millet on a sieve.
  3. Pour 200 ml of water into the pan and bring to a boil. In boiling water, add millet groats and cook over medium heat until semi-soft for about 10-15 minutes.
    In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil and put the millet in it.
  4. Grate 400 grams of pumpkin on a medium or large grater or chop with straws.
    Rub the pumpkin on a coarse grater.
  5. Add to the pan.
    We spread the pumpkin to the boiling millet.
  6. There we introduce 450-500 ml of milk.
    Add milk to the porridge.
  7. Add 1 teaspoon of salt, 2.5-3 tablespoons of sugar, mix and cook for 15-20 minutes.
    Add sugar and a little salt.
  8. Over time, add 100-150 ml of cream, reduce the heat to a minimum and so cook the porridge for another 5 minutes.
    At the end, add cream to the dish, mix.
  9. Turn off the fire, let the dish stand for 3-5 minutes and serve: hot - with butter and ground cinnamon, in cold - with jam, jam, fruit or honey.
