Important!When you choose a beef heart, it is better to give preference to an unwashed product. In this case, blood clots are visible in the vessels. The whole secret is that in this way the heart will retain freshness and beneficial properties for a longer time. Beef heart is combined with many ingredients, it is used to prepare cold and hot appetizers, pastes, salads, as a filling for pies, pancakes, etc.

Step cooking

  1. First of all, clean the beef heart from excess fat and films, carefully remove all the vessels inside and rinse it well with water.
    We wash the heart well, cut out the vessels, remove blood clots.
  2. Soak the peeled heart in a bowl of cold water for about 2 hours.
    Now the offal needs to be soaked.
  3. Place the soaked heart in a pan and pour water into it so that the meat is completely covered. Add 2-3 bay leaves and a little pepper to the pan. Cook the heart over medium heat for 2 hours.
    Put the heart in a pan, fill it with water, add bay leaf and peppercorns.
  4. When the heart has boiled, remove it from the pan and let it cool, then cut it into small pieces. Do not pour the broth, you will still need it.
