This is a flaky snack. The "stuffing" can be a variety of components - it all depends on your taste and imagination. But the filing requirements are more stringent. Layers are laid out in the form of a bracket (crescent). For decoration, you need the ingredients of green (peel), white (layer), red (flesh) and black (seed) colors. Typically, cucumbers, cheese / egg whites, tomatoes and olives are used. But different housewives also use greens, grapes, red caviar, pomegranate seeds, and prunes.

Classic recipe

What to cook from:

  • chicken breast - 350 g;
  • hard cheese - 180 g;
  • cucumber - two pieces;
  • chicken egg - three pieces;
  • tomato - two pieces;
  • onions - one piece;
  • vinegar - two teaspoons;
  • olives - five pieces;
  • sugar, salt, mayonnaise.

Step-by-step instruction

  1. Boil the breast in a little salty water for 20 minutes. Turn off the heat and leave the chicken to cool in a saucepan.
  2. Eggs also boil, cool and shell.
  3. Chop and pickle onions. To do this, mix vinegar with boiling water in equal proportions, add one teaspoon of sugar, pour the onion with the composition and cover the container with a lid.
  4. Cut the chilled fillet into small cubes, and grate the eggs and cheese coarsely.
  5. Grind the cucumber on a grater, salt, and then be sure to throw it on a sieve so that the glass has excess liquid.
  6. Cut olives into four parts.
  7. Crush the tomato with straws, having previously removed the watery core from them.
  8. Lay out the layers in the form of a watermelon slice in the following order: chicken and mayonnaise, pickled onions, egg and mayonnaise, cheese and mayonnaise.

  • vegetable oil - 20 g;
  • butter - 20 g;
  • olives (seedless) - five pieces;
  • pepper, salt, mayonnaise.

Step-by-step instruction

  1. Finely chop the onion into cubes. After frying it in vegetable oil until caramel color, add sliced ​​mushrooms, season and salt. At the very end (after the fire is turned off) add butter to the pan.
  2. Boil the breast with spices, cool and cut into medium-sized cubes.
  3. Cut the egg and bell pepper, and grate the cheese.
  4. Grind vegetables for decoration with thin strips and put them on a sieve for ten minutes.
  5. Cut olives into quarters.
  6. Lay out the components with a crescent in this order: fillet mixed with mayonnaise, onion with mushrooms, egg, mayonnaise, bell pepper.
  7. Put a fresh cucumber on the outer side, rub the cheese with a thin line near it, and fill the rest of the space with a layer of tomato.
  8. Arrange olives “seeds” randomly in the salad and remove the appetizer in a cold place for 40-60 minutes.

  • smoked chicken breast - 350 g;
  • hard cheese - 200 g;
  • cucumber - two pieces;
  • tomato - two pieces;
  • walnuts (or peanuts) - a small handful;
  • olives - five pieces;
  • salt, mayonnaise, herbs.

Step-by-step instruction

  1. Peel smoked chicken from skin and bones, cut into small pieces together with half olives.
  2. Fry nuts lightly for five minutes.
  3. Mix chopped greens with mayonnaise.
  4. Coarsely grate cheese, chop nuts.
  5. Combine smoked meats with nuts and cheese in one bowl, seasoning them with sauce.
  6. Put the resulting mixture on a flat plate with a crescent.
  7. Sprinkle the whole area of ​​the salad with a thin layer of tomatoes, then put chopped cucumbers mixed with greens along the edge.
  8. At the end, put slices of olives that mimic watermelon seeds.
You can add veal and apple to the "nut" version of the snack. Then it will be even more useful. If in a dish that is cooked without eggs, the smoked breast is replaced with boiled, and mayonnaise with natural yogurt or sour cream, then it will become dietary.

  • boiled chicken breast (or smoked) - 450 g;
  • hard cheese - 180 g;
  • Korean carrots - 300 g;
  • cucumber - two pieces;
  • tomato - two pieces;
  • olives (seedless) - half a can;
  • sugar, salt, mayonnaise.

Step-by-step instruction

  1. Chopped boiled in spices or smoked brisket in small cubes, mix with mayonnaise.
  2. Cut the vegetables for decoration into thin strips, and divide the olives into four parts.
  3. Lay out the dishes in this order: Korean carrots, chicken with mayonnaise, olives, mayonnaise, cheese.
  4. Decorate the appetizer in the same way as the previous cooking options.
If you set the table for a large company, then you can arrange the dish not in the form of a crescent, but in the shape of a circle (as if two slices connected). Another option is the hemisphere.   5. Prepare dressing: mix garlic, herbs and lemon juice with mayonnaise.
  6. Lay out the salad in layers in the form of a semicircle: ham, grated eggs, sauce, mushrooms and onions, sauce, cheese.

  1. Drain the marinade from the fish and mash it thoroughly with a fork.
  2. Boil hard boiled eggs. After cooling, rub on a coarse grater.
