Ingredients

  • Daikon - 2 pcs.
  • Large carrot - 1 pc.
  • Bell pepper - 1 pc.
  • Onions - 2 pcs.
  • Fresh garlic - 3 cloves
  • Hot red pepper - 1 pc.
  • Table salt - to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil - 2-3 tbsp. l
  • Lemon juice (half a lemon) - 3 tbsp. l
  • Greens for decoration (dill, parsley) - optional

Step cooking

  1. Wash and peel 2 daikon root vegetables, then grate for Korean salads or cut into long thin strips (this can be done using a peeler). we rub the daikon on a Korean grater.
  2. Wash, peel and grate 1 large carrot for Korean salads. three on a Korean grater are also carrots.
  3. Wash bell pepper (1 pc.), Release from the stem and seeds, cut into thin strips. Sweet pepper cut into thin strips.
  4. Peel the onion (2 pcs.), Wash and cut into thin half rings. Cut the onion into thin half rings.
  5. For salad dressing, finely chop 3 cloves of garlic with a knife (or pass through a press). Grind the garlic.
  6. Peel red hot peppers from seeds, chop with a knife and mix with garlic in a small bowl. Grind hot pepper.
  7. Squeeze 3 tbsp of lemon half l juice and add to the garlic with pepper. Squeeze lemon juice with garlic and pepper.
  8. Pour 3-4 tbsp. l extra virgin olive oil and mix. Add olive oil to the dressing, mix.
  9. Transfer chopped vegetables into a salad bowl, salt to taste, pour salad dressing, mix. We combine in the salad bowl all chopped vegetables, season with sharp dressing.
  10. Leave the salad to marinate for 2-3 hours. Mix the salad and leave to marinate.
