“Chamomile” is a collective name for snacks, which differ in their composition and method of serving, but have common features. The hostess decides for herself which products to use in cooking. The main components are boiled vegetables and eggs. They are complemented by different varieties of meat, mushrooms, fish and even seafood.

We spread the snack in the form of a flower. We make layers or slides or simply mix all the products and arrange the petals already at the top of the dish, for example, using greens and chips, yolks and egg whites. For salad, you should choose a flat large plate. If this is a layered option, then a deep transparent container, portioned bowls are suitable.

The dish is also known under such names as “Chamomile Field”, “Chamomile Glade”. On the top layer, both one large and several small flowers are decorated.

Chamomile salad recipe: experimenting with ingredients

The appetizer does not have a strict recipe, so we choose the filling for it taking into account personal taste preferences from those products that are in the refrigerator and on kitchen shelves. You can cook a “Chamomile” diet or more nutritious. In the first case, we select low-calorie varieties of meat, use low-fat fish. We carry out heat treatment: bake, fry or boil.

With Chiken

Description. A satisfying and inexpensive option. The Chamomile salad recipe with chicken is interpreted as we want. We take a variety of vegetables, herbs for decoration. We make a less high-calorie snack - instead of the storefront, add homemade mayonnaise, low-fat sour cream.

Ingredients:

  • chicken meat - 200 g;
  • one or two pickled cucumbers;
  • three eggs;
  • half an onion;
  • one or two potato tubers;
  • mayonnaise or sour cream - 200 ml;
  • one teaspoon of vinegar;
  • spice;
  • greenery.

Cooking

  1. Boil eggs and potatoes.
  2. Boil or bake the meat.
  3. If the onion is bitter, then pickle it. Shred with thin rings, pour over boiled, and then cold water. Add vinegar, spices to the marinade. We insist for five minutes.
  4. We cut the potatoes into cubes, the cucumber - into strips, three eggs (we leave a part for decoration).
  5. Mix foods, season with sauce, sprinkle with spices. Previously, we wrap the walls and bottom of the bowl with cling film.
  6. We turn the container with the mixture onto a large, flat dish so that it forms a cake.
  7. From the remnants of egg whites and yolks, we make a flower on top. We make it in the form of chamomile: carefully cut out the petals from the proteins and stack them in a circle, and add the chopped yolk in the middle. You can simply crush it with a fork. We make the stem from the onion feather, leaves from parsley branches.
Before serving, keep the dish in the cold to insist and soak.

With chicken liver

Description. Chamomile salad with chicken liver is an appetizing combination of products. It goes well with side dishes such as boiled potatoes or rice. Will make a worthy competition on the New Year's table for already boring dishes.

Ingredients:

  • chicken liver - 350 g;
  • mushrooms - 350 g;
  • two onions;
  • three eggs;
  • one tablespoon of vegetable oil;
  • cheese - 150 g;
  • five tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • greenery;
  • spice.

Cooking

  1. First of all, boil the liver. Throw it in salted water and cook for no more than 15 minutes, otherwise it will become hard and dry.Cool and chop with straws.
  2. To shorten the cooking process, you can take champignons for the dish, since they do not need to be boiled. Cut into small slices and fry with chopped onions until cooked. There should be no liquid in the pan.
  3. We leave one egg for decoration, and the rest three.
  4. Sequence: hepatic, onion-mushroom, egg, cheese layer. Soak each of them with mayonnaise net, sprinkle with spices.
  5. Decorate the top with a camomile of egg whites and yolk. We make stems and leaves from greenery.

With sausage and chips

Description. Such “Chamomile glade”, thanks to the original layout of the petals from the chips, looks very beautiful and festive on the table. Large chips of the same shape in the form of petals are better for decoration.

Ingredients:

  • sausage - 250 g;
  • cheese - 150 g;
  • two garlic cloves;
  • two tomatoes;
  • three eggs;
  • five tablespoons of mayonnaise;
  • greens, chips for decoration;
  • spice.

Cooking

  1. Prepare products step by step. First of all, do not cut them too finely, since the taste of each ingredient should be felt distinctly.
  2. We rub the cheese coarsely, squeeze the garlic and add it to mayonnaise, cut the boiled eggs and tomatoes into slices or cubes, chop the sausage into squares.
  3. We mix the ingredients, season with garlic and mayonnaise sauce, sprinkle with spices.
  4. We decorate the top in the form of one large flower. The center of the apex is covered with grated protein or yolk, and on the edges we spread the petals of chips.
  5. Leave in the cold until serving.
The recipe for Chamomile salad with chips suggests a certain sequence in the decoration. We spread the chips along the edges of the dish just before serving. Otherwise, they will lose their crunch.

With crab sticks

Description. Filling snacks is known to many housewives. The combination of Peking cabbage and crab sticks is very common. The tandem is fresh, tender and tasty.

Ingredients:

  • "Peking" - 250 g;
  • crab sticks - 150 g;
  • four eggs;
  • olives;
  • three tablespoons of sour cream;
  • one teaspoon of lemon juice;
  • spice.

Cooking

  1. Shred the cabbage, wrinkle it with your hands, so that it becomes softer and lets out a little juice.
  2. Cut crab sticks and two eggs into cubes, olives into quarters or halves.
  3. Mix the ingredients, season with sour cream and lemon sauce.
  4. We spread it on a dish to get an even slide.
  5. Knead the yolk with a fork and put it in the center of the apex. Around him are “petals” of protein.
Extra vegetables and greens will help make Chamomile more colorful. For decoration, we take basil leaves, sorrel, sprigs of parsley and dill, slices of bell pepper, green olives.

With canned fish

Description. We take any canned food in oil. It can be sardines, sprats. The fish is rich in trace elements, so the appetizer is not only tasty, but also healthy. It is laid out in layers and is a bit like the famous Mimosa.

Ingredients:

  • boiled rice - 300 g;
  • pink salmon from a can - 150 g;
  • three cucumbers;
  • two onions;
  • one carrot;
  • three eggs;
  • mayonnaise;
  • spice;
  • greenery.

Cooking

  1. We rub the boiled carrots coarsely, cut the cucumbers in half rings, onions in cubes.
  2. Sequence: boiled rice, fish, onions, carrots, cucumbers. We impregnate all layers except the last with a mayonnaise grid.
  3. We divide the boiled yolks into halves, and the proteins into strips. Decorate the top.
In the appetizer, you can use fresh vegetables, not boiled. But this dish is not for everybody. Not everyone likes raw carrots.

Korean style carrots

Description. We serve the appetizer on the table on our own or in combination with hot dishes. A distinctive feature of the option is that it is possible to form a Chamomile salad not only in layers, but also in heaps. Just need to lay out the products individually in the form of a flower.

Ingredients:

  • two potatoes;
  • pork (carbonate);
  • cheese (hard variety) - 200 g;
  • Korean carrots - 300 g;
  • four eggs;
  • mayonnaise - 300 g;
  • two onions;
  • greens, lettuce leaves;
  • spice;
  • vegetable oil.

Cooking

  1. Boil meat (cool in the broth), eggs, potatoes.
  2. Passed chopped onions.
  3. Cheese, potatoes coarsely rub, cut the meat into cubes.
  4. On a flat dish, lay out lettuce leaves. Next comes the meat, onion, potato, cheese, carrot layer. We impregnate each of them with a mayonnaise grid.
  5. In boiled eggs, we cut the squirrels into large strips, and knead the yolks with a fork. From the first components we make “petals”, from the second - the middle of the flower.
If the Chamomile salad with Korean carrots is done in slides, then we add not boiled, but fried potatoes.

With beetroot

Description. We can change the list of products, taking into account our own culinary tastes. Mushrooms go well with meat and beets. Pickled or fresh champignons are best suited. We do not boil them, but immediately fry them.

Ingredients:

  • one beetroot;
  • one carrot;
  • meat (pork, beef) - 300 g;
  • one onion;
  • French fries - 150 g;
  • half a can of canned green peas;
  • mayonnaise;
  • spice.

Cooking

  1. We use beets and carrots fresh. Together with the meat we grind them into cubes.
  2. We chop the potatoes into strips and deep-fry.
  3. Drain the liquid from the peas.
  4. On a flat dish, spread the food with slides, sprinkle with spices. In the middle, pour onion chopped into cubes. Pour it with mayonnaise.
We show imagination in the design. Instead of egg yolk, we take canned corn, boiled carrots. “Petals” are made from chips, lemon slices, pieces of radish.

We are not afraid to experiment. Add to the snack not only different types of meat. You can experiment with walnuts, pineapple, turnips. We prepare a gourmet dish in the French manner, where we combine an apple with cheese, egg, red onion. Chamomile salad is an excellent solution for beginners who can begin their culinary journey with the preparation of a simple dish. To spoil it is almost impossible.
