If you want to cook on the grill some kind of relatively dietary dish, then you can try the turkey shish kebab recipe. It is prepared quite simply, since the whole process is described in detail in the article, and at each stage there is a photo. The dish uses turkey fillet, as well as some other ingredients that make the meat more tasty and aromatic. Shish kebab made from turkey turns out to be quite juicy, while it does not contain many calories. You can serve barbecue on your own or with fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

Turkey fillet 1 kg
Onion 1 PC.
Horseradish 1 tsp
Ground black pepper taste
Dry adjika taste
Soy sauce 50 ml
Olive oil 2 tbsp. l
Salt taste
Dried garlic 1 tsp

Step cooking

  1. For barbecue we use 1 kg of turkey fillet, which must be cut into small pieces. We put the chopped meat into a deep bowl.

  2. Peel a large onion from the husk and rinse under cold water to make it easier to cut. Cut onions in half rings 3-4 mm thick.

  3. Without removing the onion half rings from the board, salt them with a pinch of table salt. Knead a little onion with your hands so that it becomes wet and lets the juice flow. Thus, the kebab will turn out juicier and absorb onion juice.
    Prepare the ingredients for cooking.
  4. We transfer the juicy onions into a bowl with turkey and mix well. It is most convenient to do this with your hands.

  5. Add 1 tsp to the meat. ready canned horseradish. If you haven’t found one, use regular horseradish. To taste, season the turkey with black pepper and dry adjika. Add 1 tsp. dried garlic, pour 50 ml of soy sauce and 2 tbsp. l olive oil. Gently mix all the ingredients with your hands so that the meat is well saturated with spices and salt. Cover the turkey bowl with cling film and let the meat marinate a little. On average, 30 minutes is enough for a good meat soak.

  6. After half an hour, we string the meat on bamboo skewers, but you can also use ordinary metal ones. It is necessary to arrange the meat tightly to each other so that it does not dry out, remains juicy and well-fried.

  7. On the grill we prepare charcoal. To make it flare up faster, you can use the ignition fluid. When the coals warm up well, put the kebabs from the turkey on the grill. Fry until tender, not forgetting to periodically turn the barbecue so that it does not burn. On average, the process of cooking barbecue takes 25-30 minutes.

  8. Shish kebab from turkey is completely ready, it turns out to be very juicy, at the same time, quite dietary. Serve the kebab hot with fresh vegetables.
