If the weather doesn’t allow you to go outside and cook barbecue at the stake, use the recipe for baking barbecue in the oven in a 3-liter jar. For this you will need meat, seasonings, salt, any marinade in which you like to soak meat, skewers, a jar and, of course, an oven. If there is not enough smell of a fire, then before cooking, pour liquid smoke into a jar. Then your kebabs will turn out, as in nature.

  1. Cut into large pieces 1 - 1.5 kg of pork collar. Put the chopped meat in a bowl and sprinkle it with plenty of salt. Squeeze the juice out of 1/2 of the lemon, pour the meat on it.
    Cut the meat into slices, salt, pour over lemon juice.
  2. Sprinkle 1 tbsp. l seasoning that you like. You can take a ready-made seasoning for barbecue, you can mix several different seasonings in this dish and evenly fill them with meat.
    Add seasoning.
  3. Pour 1/2 cup of beer. If you will give barbecue to children, beer can be replaced with kefir, milk, tomato juice, sparkling water, etc.
    Add beer to the meat.
  4. Mix everything thoroughly with your hands, as if squeezing the contents into the meat.
    Mix the meat thoroughly.
  5. We cut 2 - 3 onions with wide rings, we do not separate the rings. Add to the meat. It is advisable to put the meat with marinade under the press, although this is not necessary. We put in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
    Add onions, mix everything and leave the meat to marinate.

BBQ cooking

  1. After the indicated time, we alternately string pieces of meat and onion rings onto wooden skewers. It is wooden skewers made from fruit trees that add an extra flavor to meat. So that they do not start to burn in the oven, hold them in water for 20 minutes before stringing.
    We string the meat alternately with onions on wooden skewers.
  2. The remaining marinade after meat can be poured onto the bottom of the can. To give the barbecue a smoke flavor, you can pour 1 tbsp. l liquid smoke. Or, as an option, make a coal from a burnt piece of wood and put it on the bottom of the can. When heated, the coal will give its smell. Place the barbecue in a 3-liter jar. We don’t stuff them strongly into the jar, we leave some distance for more air circulation. If all the kebabs do not fit - it is better to take another jar. Ideally, when the bank has 4 - 5 skewers.
    We put skewers with meat in a 3-liter jar.
  3. Cover the jar tightly with foil. You can make a puncture in the foil to release steam.
    Tightly cover the neck of the can with foil.
  4. We put in a cold oven so that the jar in the hot oven does not crack. It is advisable to put the jar on a wire rack so that uniform heating occurs both above and below. Turn on the oven at 200 - 220 degrees. Barbecue jar will gradually heat up along with the oven. Bake for 1 hour.
    We put the jar in the oven, only then turn it on.
  5. After turning off the oven, do not immediately open it, let it cool down gradually for 15 - 20 minutes. Otherwise, due to a sharp temperature drop, the bank may burst.
    We take out the jar from the oven and let it cool slightly.
  6. We take out the prepared kebab from the jar, put it on a plate.
