Step cooking

  1. To begin with, we rinse pearl barley in five waters, transfer to a bowl and pour boiling water so that it stands for a while.
    Barley must be washed in advance and filled with water.
  2. My chicken drumstick. Optionally, you can take chicken thighs, breast, fillets, etc. Lay in a saucepan and pour cold water. We put on the fire. We are waiting for the lower leg to boil for 10 minutes, then drain the water, and rinse the lower leg.
    We spread the chicken drumsticks in a pan, bring to a boil, and then drain the water.
  3. Pour new water, on which we will cook our soup. This must be done in order to make the soup light and cloudy. Add the barley and salt.
    Fill the drumsticks with fresh water, immediately add the barley and cook.
  4. Peel potatoes, carrots and onions. Cut the potatoes into cubes or cubes.
    We clean onions, carrots, potatoes.
  5. Finely chop the onion and sauté in a preheated skillet with the addition of vegetable oil.
    Grind onions and fry in a pan.
  6. Rub carrots on a coarse grater and add to the pan.
    Add the grated carrot to the onion and prepare the frying.
  7. Let the soup boil for 20 minutes and add the potatoes. Cook for another 10 minutes and pour the prepared sauté (onion with carrots) into the pan and cook until the soup is ready. We taste, add as needed, add seasoning.

  8. When the soup is ready, take out the chicken drumstick and separate the meat from the bone. We pour it back into the soup, and throw out the bones. Let it boil until the potatoes are ready and turn off the heat.
