Step cooking
- We will prepare all the ingredients and the work surface. We’ll wash the meat. Cut 200 g of pork and 200 g of beef into small cubes. Using a meat grinder, make minced meat. The best option for this dish would be a combination of pork and beef, but any other meat is perfect. It all depends on your preferences and taste.
- Boil 4 hard boiled eggs, twist through a meat grinder and add to the minced meat.
- We cut one onion into slices of any size and also twist through a meat grinder.
- Drive one egg into the minced meat. Salt and pepper to taste. If desired, you can add any spices and seasonings. Finely chop green onion, dill and parsley, add to the meat, mix it thoroughly so that all the ingredients are evenly distributed.
- Puff yeast-free dough can be used at home, or purchased. We spread it on the work surface and roll it out a little. If your dough is frozen, it must be transferred from the freezer to the refrigerator so that it unfreezes naturally.
- Then, using a sharp knife, cut the whole dough into long strips with a width of 0.5 - 1 cm.
- From the minced meat we form meat balls of the size that you like. You can pre-fry meatballs to seal the meat. We take one strip of dough and randomly wrap meatballs around, as if you are wrapping a ball of thread with a thread. For one meatball we use about three strips of dough.
- Thus we form all meatballs. On a baking sheet covered with parchment paper, put the meatballs at a small distance from each other.
- Grease the dough with yolk.
- We put in a preheated oven to 210 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes until the meat is ready and the dough is browned. We put the finished meatballs on a plate and try. They are tender and soft inside and crispy outside. Meatballs in puff pastry are a self-sufficient dish, as it is both bread and cutlet. They will serve as an excellent alternative to sandwiches for work, children to school and even to take with you on a picnic.
Enjoy your meal!
