Step cooking

  1. Measure 1/3 of a standard glass of rice and rinse it well under water. It is better to repeat the washing procedure 2-3 times. If you like rice to feel good in meatballs, then take half a glass. Pour the rice into a small saucepan and pour a glass of water (incomplete on the finger - 200 ml). Put the saucepan on the stove and boil the rice until half cooked. Do not cook rice until cooked, as it will fall apart when stewed. It takes no more than 7-8 minutes after boiling.
    First you need to boil rice.
  2. Drain rice water through a sieve. Put in a bowl to cool slightly.

  3. Peel a medium-sized onion and rinse it under water.

  4. Cut the meat into pieces that will fit into a meat grinder. Install a meat grinder and pass the chopped meat and onion through it. Pour the cooled rice into the minced meat, and mix everything a little.

  11. Pour the meatballs with the mixture. If there is little water, you can add more. Water should not cover meatballs, but should reach at least the middle of the ball. Salt and pepper the water.
    Pour the tomato mixture of meatballs.
  12. Cover and simmer for about 15 minutes over low heat.
    Leave the meatballs to stew under the lid.
  13. After 15 minutes, dissolve 1 tbsp. In slightly cooled water (120-130 ml). l sour cream and 1 tbsp. l flour. Everything needs to be mixed very well so that there are no lumps.
    Dissolve sour cream in water and add flour.
  14. Remove the lid from the pan and add 3-5 peas of black pepper and 1 bay leaf, and then pour the previously obtained mixture of water, sour cream and flour. Stir a little. Close the lid and simmer for another 10-15 minutes.
