Knead the dough

  1. First, measure out 200 g of butter and cut it into small squares. Cut the butter into pieces.
  2. Separately, sift through a fine sieve 500 g of premium wheat flour. Pour 400 g of sifted product onto a silicone mat, on which we will knead the dough. sift the flour onto the table.
  3. We make a small depression in the center of the flour mixture, and then put the chopped butter in it. Add butter to flour.
  4. Grind the components in the palms of your hands until you get a pea-sized crumb. Grind the butter with flour.

  1. We thoroughly rinse the apples of sweet and sour varieties in the amount of 1 kg with water from the tap, then cut the core, remove the seeds and tail, and also cut the peel. Peeled fruits are cut into small thin cubes and put in a deep bowl. Cut apples into pieces.
  2. Add 100 g of granulated sugar to apples and mix the ingredients thoroughly. Add sugar to apples.

We collect and bake a pie

  1. We roll the second piece of dough with a rolling pin into a round layer, the thickness of which should not exceed 7 mm. We roll out most of the dough into a circle.
  2. Transfer the resulting workpiece to a baking sheet and give it a neat rounded shape. From the dough on a baking sheet we form a round base for the pie.
  3. On top of the dough we spread a mixture of apples and sugar, forming a fairly thick layer. We spread the filling on the dough.
  4. Sprinkle apples with ground cinnamon, sifting it through a fine strainer to avoid lumps. Determine the amount of cinnamon yourself, focusing on your own taste. Sprinkle cinnamon on the filling.
  5. We take the first slice of dough from the freezer and rub it on a coarse grater. We spread the grated dough on top of apples, form a kind of “hat” from it. The third part of the dough is three on the track and poured onto the filling.
  6. We send the cake to the oven heated to 180 ° С. Bake a treat for 40-45 minutes. We send the cake to the oven.
