  • kitchen scales;
  • tablespoon;
  • tea spoon;
  • cling film;
  • knife;
  • sieve;
  • rolling pin;
  • hob;
  • refractory deep dishes;
  • board for rolling;
  • fridge;
  • hollow-ware.

Ingredients

premium flour 500 g
cold water 250 ml
butter 375 g
salt 1 tsp

Step cooking

  1. To begin with, we extract the butter weighing 325 g from the refrigerator so that it softens. Then we take 500 g of premium flour and sift it through a sieve.
    Sift the flour.
  2. To the sifted flour add 1 tsp. salt and mix thoroughly.
    Add salt to the flour.
  3. Melt the butter weighing 50 g in a water bath and let it cool to room temperature.
    Melt 50 g of butter.
  4. After the oil has cooled, pour it into a dry mixture of flour and salt. Then mix everything.
    Add the melted butter to the flour and salt.
  5. Add 250 ml of cold water to the ingredients and knead the dough.
    Add water to flour with butter.
  6. The resulting dough is put in a bag or wrapped with cling film and put in the refrigerator for half an hour.
    Knead the dough and send it to the refrigerator.
  7. After 30 minutes, we take out the dough and put it on a board for rolling, previously sprinkling it with flour. Using a knife, we slightly cut the dough into 4 identical parts.
    We take out the dough from the refrigerator and visually divide it into 4 parts.
  8. We roll it in such a way that we get 4 thin petals.
    Roll out the dough to get 4 petals.
  9. In the center of the dough we put 325 g of butter at room temperature and cover it with the resulting petals.
    Put softened butter on the center of the cake and cover it with the dough petals.
  10. Using a rolling pin, we roll out the dough with butter until a layer of medium thickness is obtained.
    Roll out the resulting square with a rolling pin.
  11. The edges of the resulting layer are folded in 2 parts and continue to roll it.
    Then we fold the dough and roll it out again.
  12. The finished layer of dough is folded into a rectangle, wrapped with cling film and sent to the refrigerator for 1 hour.
    Having put the blank in the bag, we send it for an hour in the refrigerator.
  13. After the specified time, we take out the dough from the refrigerator, sprinkle it with flour and roll it in the same way as for the first time.
    Then roll out the dough again.
  14. Then again we hide the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour and repeat the procedure again.
    In fact, such a test for tubules is not difficult to prepare.
Important!Puff pastry contains a large amount of butter, so it is not recommended for people with problems with excess weight or stomach.

Ready dough can be used to prepare not only puff pastries, but also meat pies or puffs, adding any of the filling options you like to them. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, and if you place the dough in the freezer, it will be suitable for use for about 3 months.
