  4. Put the dough on a table sprinkled with flour and continue to knead it until springy.

Chopped dumplings with cherriesYou will need:

  • flour - 550 g;
  • milk - 350 ml;
  • egg - 1 piece;
  • sugar - 50 g;
  • salt - 5 g;
  • butter - 50 g.

Cooking

  1. Mix milk, butter, sugar and salt in a saucepan and set on low heat.
    When the oil has melted and the mixture begins to boil, turn off the burner.
  2. Enter a portion of the flour, constantly stirring the contents of the pan. It should be a soft, but not quite homogeneous mass.
  3. Cool the dough, put it in a bowl or on a table, add the egg. Knead by adding flour until the mass becomes elastic. Leave at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.

Cooking

  1. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve. Add salt, powdered sugar, egg and flour. Knead the soft dough.
  2. Separate part of the dough, roll a sausage from it. Then flatten the sausage on the table so that you get a rectangle.
  3. Lay the cherry berries on the rectangle one after the other at an equal distance from each other.
  4. Wrap the rectangle in a roll and cut into pieces so that inside each is a berry.
  5. Boil for 10 minutes in boiling water with salt.

Since the dough layer of lazy dumplings with cherries is rather thick, it is best to boil them rather than steaming.

In sweet soup

Those who are tired of cabbage soup and hodgepodge, you can cook a summer, "country" soup with cherry dumplings.

Dumplings with cherries in the soupYou will need:

  • cherry - 300 g;
  • cherry dumplings with classic dough (recipe see above) - 20 pieces;
  • sugar - 80 g;
  • water - 3 l.

Cooking

  1. Mash the cherry slightly with a fork, without taking out the seeds.
  2. Pour the berries with water, bring to a boil. Let the compote brew for half an hour.
  3. Immediately before serving, boil the cherry broth again, add sugar and dumplings. Cook for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Serve hot.
