Yogurt 1 stack
Sugar 1 stack
Baking powder 10 g
Vanilla extract 1 tbsp. l
Apricots 6-8 pcs.

Lard or butter 3 tbsp. l

To the ingredients add vanillin or vanilla extract in the amount of 1 tbsp. l Mix the entire contents of the bowl with a whisk. Simply mix the ingredients without whipping them actively.

  3. We send 3 tbsp to the vessel. l lard and stir. If there is no such product, then it can be replaced with a similar amount of butter. It is important to choose a soft butter or melt it a little at room temperature before cooking. Add 10 g of baking powder to all products, continuing to mix. You can leave the mass to stand for several minutes, so that the sugar is completely dissolved, or continue to actively mix the products until it is completely dissolved. After the sugar has dissolved, add 1.5 cups of wheat flour to the waffle mass. Stir everything with a tablespoon so that there are as few lumps as possible.

  4. Add crushed apricots to the resulting dough. We mix the ingredients so that the fruits are evenly distributed over the dough.

  5. We heat the electric waffle iron and pour the dough, evenly distributing it. We close the waffle iron with a lid and fry on one side for 10-15 seconds, after which we turn and fry on the other side for 3-4 minutes. If there is a ready indicator on the electric waffle iron, then refer to it.

  6. After about 5 minutes, remove the finished waffles on a flat plate. Repeat similarly with the remaining test. Viennese waffles are moderately sweet, while the dough is soft. You can serve ready-made waffles with any jam or honey, and also eat just with tea or milk.
