Healthy compote jelly with berries and fruits 🍮

Product amount
water 850 ml
sugar 200 g
any berries 300 g
instant gelatin 30 g
peaches 2 pcs.

Step cooking

  1. Pour 750 ml of cold water into a small pot. We put the pan on the stove, turn on the fire. Add 200 grams of granulated sugar to the pan, mix, let the syrup boil.
    Pour water into the pan, add sugar and boil the syrup.
  2. While the syrup is boiling, take a small bowl, pour 100 ml of hot but not boiling water into it, add 30 grams of instant gelatin to it. Mix the ingredients with a tablespoon until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Put aside.
    Separately, dissolve gelatin in hot water.
  3. We sort out the berries of black currant in the amount of 300 grams, clean them of excess garbage, wash them under running water. We return to the syrup on the stove, which has already boiled. Pour the pure berries into a pan with boiling syrup, bring to a boil, cook the compote. You need to cook 10-12 minutes after boiling.
    Wash the berries and spread in boiling water.
  4. When the compote is ready, let it stand to cool down to about 80 degrees.
    Ready compote let cool a little.
  5. Then add the swollen gelatin to the saucepan with compote, mix until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
    When the compote cools down a bit, add gelatin to it.
  6. Under the tap, I wash two peaches, remove the seeds from them, peel off the rough fragments of the skin, cut the fruit into small cubes with a knife on a cutting board.
    Cut peaches into pieces.
  7. We place the clean jelly molds on the work surface, put the pieces of peach on the bottom of the molds so that the bottom of the container is covered with fruit.
    Pour slices of peaches into the jelly dish.
  8. We take a saucepan with compote and dissolved gelatin, ladle pour the mixture into forms filled with peach slices.
    Pour jelly into the mold and let it cool.
  9. Let the product stand to cool completely at room temperature. When the jelly has cooled to room temperature, put the forms in the refrigerator, hold until the dessert has completely hardened, it will acquire the necessary consistency. After the jelly has completely hardened, we take it out of the refrigerator. It is ready, it turned out very beautiful and appetizing in appearance. It's time to serve it on the table.
    As you can see, making jelly from compote is not at all difficult.

Useful Tips

  • Before serving, the dessert plate must be dipped in hot water for a few seconds. Then turn it on a portioned plate, the jelly will remain on it. Garnish with peeled slices of orange, mandarin or lemon.
  • You can cook such a product from any other berries: cherries, plums, strawberries, raspberries. Instead of peaches, you can use any other fruits, for example apples, as a filler from fruits.
